Habitat is diligently working to expand our community of sponsors and volunteers. Currently, we have a high school chapter affiliates at Brentwood High School, Franklin High School, Centennial High School, and Battleground Academy. Brentwood Academy builds with us every other year, and Page High school will be forming a campus chapter this year. In addition Page High is building a home on site at the school through their vo-tech program. We will move this home to a lot at our new subdivision in Franklin. We also are inviting a broader corporate involvement to increase our ability to buy land and build homes. If your corporation is interested in partnering with Habitat, either through work groups or sponsorship of a home (partial, or whole) please contact Ermon Lature, Executive Director.
Our next application period for 2003 families will be on May 10th at 9am at Franklin Limestone Baptist Church. Family selection process will continue until December 2003. Questions should be directed to Mary Rucker, our Family Selection Administrator. Help us eliminate substandard housing in our community! It's quick, easy and safe to support the house-building, hope-building work of HFHWC through Habitat for Humanity International's secure online donation system. You can even send a gift card announcing your donation in honor of a loved one or a special occasion. The Habitat for Humanity International web site contains more information on Habitat's history, mission, volunteer opportunities and contact information for other Habitat affiliates around the world. |
