9/8 - Week 1 for MCYSA league play.  Good start to the season guys.  Everyone played hard and
we came away with a well deserved victory.  Let's keep it up as we travel to Morris United next week for a replay of our first game of the Colonial Shootout Tournament
9/28 - Note for the future...... Never play games before noon!!   Good fight after the early let-down.. let's carry that through to the Madison game.
9/26 - HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  MIKE-THE-GOALIE !!!!

10/23 - Coach's comment - I thought Sunday's game was one of the best played games all season - let's keep it up....work hard at practice... and let's turn that into 4 victories to finish up the season as flight champs !!
10/21 - State Cup Update - America's United won our bracket - off to Fort Dix for quarter finals
10/7 - Coach Martin is now Referee Martin... passing the test along with Amanda Hutton and Megan McDonald (both United guest players in the past).  Hate to admit it, but coach Martin actually learned 3 or 4 things that he didn't know about soccer !!  (valuable coaching applications too !!)
10/6 - Check out the standings.... Morris United worked out a tie against Madison (Great job Titans !!).  That leaves the door open for us to win out and take the flight.  We have a week off from games to rest and heal up and get psyched to go a second time against everyone.
11/11 - Out of the four concepts we were shooting for (keeping the ball in our possession, keeping the ball on Madison's side of the field, getting in front of every
shot attempt and going to the ball first), we accomplished NONE.  We played a sloppy, high school style kick & run game.  Now we have to hope that Morris
United can help us out again.. If the Titans can beat or tie Madison this Sunday (a we beat Highland) we will still win or tie for the flight championship.
11/4 - UNITED played a solid game to come back twice from 1 goal deficits to beat a much improved Wayne Panthers team.  You guys kept fighting and created a   lot of scoring opportunities, and capitalized with some very well taken goals.  The big test will be this coming Sunday in Madison.. get psyched... Always
remember the fundamentals, play hard and good things will happen
10/27 - Thanks to the Vernon Bulldogs, who scored a game tying goal in the closing minutes of a darkness-shortened game against Madison in Vernon in addition to  UNITED's 4-3 victory over MUSC Titans, UNITED has moved into 1st place in the flight (1 point ahead of Madison).  Let's keep up the good work, win out the
balance of the season and achieve one of our season goals - Flight Champs !!  GO  UNITED
