The Primrose Petals: Good Fortune. Reggie sleuths against a pleasant beach background, finds several good physical clues, allowing him to solve the mysetry of two vanished children, presumed drowned. The baby farm and the villain's motive recall "The Little House", and the overly fond mother "The Broken Toad". Some similarities to Gladys Mitchell's 1947 novel Death and the Maiden.
