SUPERMAN IV: QUEST FOR PEACE GOOFS

It can't be daylight in China, New York, Italy and Russia at the same time.


When Nuclear Man flies (crashes) through each level of the Daily Planet
the wires pulling him up are clearly visible.


When Superman is fighting Nuclear Man on the moon, there are several
shots where black curtains can be seen off in the distance of the moon surface.


In the final scene where Superman is to address the members of the press,
the shot with Lois, Jimmy and Clark contains diffused light as if it is morning.
In the following shot (after Clark leaves) the sun is out and is shining hard
light at the actors' backs.


During the street fight, white ropes can be seen pulling the SWAT van into the air.


At the United Nations, the nation immediately to the left of the aisle is
"England". "England" is not a member of the United Nations, "The United
Kingdom" is a member of the United Nations.


There is no direct route from the exhaust tower of a nuclear power plant to the reactor.


Wires are visible in many scenes, including when Superman takes Lois flying,
when Superman is flying all over the world, trying to stop Nuclear Man, among
other scenes.


When Superman is speaking in Russian to the cosmonauts, his voice is
obviously dubbed.


The Daily Planet, which is supposed to be a U.S. newspaper, has a headline
that uses the British English spelling of "favourite" instead of the American
English spelling of the word without the u.


When Lex Luthor steals the strand of Superman's hair that is holding up the
1 ton weight, he first uses bolt-cutters to cut the weight free, then is able to
break the hair with his bare hands.


When Lex is stealing Superman's hair, the hole for the 1 ton weight to fall
through is revealed when the fake flooring on the base falls away too soon.


Cars with UK license plates are visible in several shots.


In the first fight between Nuclear Man and Superman, a platform is visible
under their feet, although they're fighting in space.


In the shot where the piece of space debris strikes the Soviet space capsule,
you can see the head of the Cosmonaut (a model, that is) actually break off.
In the next shot it is intact.


The fire hydrant Nuclear Man blows up around the street attack is clearly
made of foam when it explodes.


When Nuclear Man is thought to be destroyed when Superman lands on
the moon to stand the American flag in it proper place, you can clearly
see his wires that are used to make him fly or land.


Near the end of the subway sequence in Metropolis early in the film, a billboard
is visible in the background with "New York" at the bottom as Superman
leaves the scene.


The purse over the shoulder of the woman in military uniform disappears
when she enters the bunker.


When Nuclear Man and Superman are fighting in Space, Nuclear Man uses
his super breath to freeze Superman. However, right before the camera
pulls away, you can see Superman's head move.


Capes flap in space and Superman is able to speak to the cosmonaut,
even though there is no air.


When the car carrying the guards goes over the cliff, it is clearly empty
in the shot of it in the air.


After the fight between Superman and Nuclear Man on the moon, Nuclear Man
defeats Superman and returns to Earth. You can see a mirrored picture of
Earth in the scene.
