Mission Statement:

The Hepatitis Association of Delaware, Inc. mission is to provide education and services concerning all forms of Hepatitis to individuals with the disease and to the community at large, through the provision of information, indentification of medical, economic, spiritual and emotional support and resources.

Our Vision:

HAD, INC. aims to influence the infection rates and the quality of life in individuals who have contracted this virus, through education, community sreenings, counseling and case management programs. HAD, INC. also aims to improve the employment rate and economic situations of people that lose employment and wages due to this illness; we'll labor for new legislations, compile literature on education and prevention of hepatitis C.

About Our Services:

We provide a meeting (support and education) area for persons with Hepatitis, their families, and the community to discuss the impact of Hepatitis.

Provide seminars and lectures from medical personnel and other professionals.

Education and treatment resourse coordination, and we provide referrals to other agencies.

Education and awareness programs for Health Care Workers.

The most current literature and information are shared with individuals. We seek the formost authorities to share their expertise and knowledge on aspects of living with Hepatitis.
