In The Name Of Allah Most
Gracious Most Merciful
Assalaamu alaykum wa

Assalamau alaykum wa
rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
33:70. O you who believe! Keep
your duty to Allâh and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.
22:30. That (Manâsik
prescribed duties of Hajj is the obligation that mankind owes to Allâh), and
whoever honours the sacred things of Allâh, then that is better for him with
his Lord. The cattle are lawful to you, except those (that will be) mentioned
to you (as exceptions). So shun the abomination (worshipping) of idol, and shun
lying speech (false statements)
26:221. Shall I inform you (O
people!) upon whom the Shayâtin (devils) descend?
222. They descend on every
lying (one who tells lies), sinful person.
8:27. O you who believe!
Betray not Allâh and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amânât (things
entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allâh has ordained for you).
Speech
Malik :: Book 56 : Hadith
56.7.16
Malik related to me that he
heard that Abdullah ibn Masud used to say, "You must tell the truth.
Truthfulness leads to right action. Right action leads to the Garden. Beware of
lying. Lying leads to corruption, and corruption leads to the Fire. Don't you
see that it is said, 'He speaks the truth and acts rightly,' and, 'He lies and
is corrupt.' "
General Behavior (Kitab
Al-Adab)
Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4953
Narrated Sufyan ibn Asid
al-Hadrami:
I heard the Apostle of Allah
(peace_be_upon_him) say: It is great treachery that you should tell your
brother something and have him believe you when you are lying.
General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)
Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4782
Narrated AbuUmamah:
The Prophet
(peace_be_upon_him) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise
for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the
middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a
house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.
Prayers (Salat)
Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 8
:: Hadith 386
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said,
"Whoever prays like us and faces our Quibla and eats our slaughtered
animals is a Muslim and is under Allah's and His Apostle's protection. So do
not betray Allah by betraying those who are in His protection."
Laws of Inheritance
(Al-Faraa'id)
Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 80
:: Hadith 747
Narrated 'Ali:
We have no Book to recite
except the Book of Allah (Qur'an) and this paper. Then 'Ali took out the paper,
and behold ! There was written in it, legal verdicts about the retaliation for
wounds, the ages of the camels (to be paid as Zakat or as blood money). In it
was also written: 'Medina is a sanctuary from Air (mountain) to Thaur
(mountain). So whoever innovates in it an heresy (something new in religion) or
commits a crime in it or gives shelter to such an innovator, will incur the
curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and none of his compulsory or
optional good deeds will be accepted on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever (a
freed slave) takes as his master (i.e. be-friends) some people other than hi
real masters without the permission of his real masters, will incur the curse
of Allah, the angels and all the people, and none of his compulsory, or
optional good deeds will be accepted on the Day of Resurrection. And the asylum
granted by any Muslim is to be secured by all the Muslims, even if it is
granted by one of the lowest social status among them; and whoever betrays a
Muslim, in this respect will incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the
people, and none of his Compulsory or optional good deeds will be accepted on
the Day of Resurrection."
Good Manners and Form
(Al-Adab)
Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 73
:: Hadith 117
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said,
"The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie;
and whenever he promises, he breaks his promise; and whenever he is entrusted,
he betrays (proves to be dishonest)".
The Book on Government (Kitab
Al-Imara)
Muslim :: Book 20 : Hadith
4673
It has been narrated on the
authority of Sulaimin b. Buraida who learnt the tradition from his father. The
latter said that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: The
sanctity of the wives of Mujahids is like the sanctity of their mothers for
those who sit at home (i. e do not go out for Jihad). Anyone who stays behind
looking after the family of a Mujahid and betrays his trust will be made to
stand on the Day of judgment before the Mujahid who will take away from his
meritorious deeds whatever he likes. So what do you think (will he leave
anything)?
