Assalaamu alykum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatuhu,

The so called flawed belief of "practicing tradition" only.

Allah subhanawatala sent Quran,with it he perfected faith,all the laws reached saturation point,many practices of earlier times follwed by earlier

prophets were changed,like change of Qiblah followed by [Moses] musa alai salaam and many prophets after him,previously spoils of war were not

allowed,In quran complete earth became place of worship,the method of dry ablution was taught,Adhan was established and many more ordinances were

established.Few ignorant people think that all the laws were same and everything was practised by oral tradition/practising tradition.But this is

untrue,All the book were written down and so were there explanations,the same is the case with Quran,also by memorising teaching of Islam.By

believeing in oral/practising tradition few people want to reject hadith completely.They say ,its the practice of Abraham alai salaam ,so its been

passed down to us since generation.This belief of their's can be refuted easily,as Quran affirms previous books were corrupted,and Islam is perfected

By the revealation of Quran.

Prophet muhammad peace be upon him was not aware of many practises and of many stories of prophets,Revelation - taught him all that needs to be

learnt.After the demise of Prophet Muhammad pbuh since centuries muslims do not rely on practicing tradition rather we have source of verification in

the form of Quran and hadith[sihah-sitta] hadith Database.

Practice of Allah subhanawatala in giving the same duty to all the people of past and present and future.And its to follow the religion of Monotheism

and its various rules ,regulations leading to the objective of obedience to Allah subhanawatala.

33:38 There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of

old that have passed away and the command of Allah is a decree determined.

Transliteration Ma_ ka_na alan nabiy yi min harajin fima_ faradal la_hu lah sun natal la_hi fil lazina halau min qabl wa ka_na amrul la_hi qadaram

maqdu_ra_

To every people rites were given.

22:67 To every People have we appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow let them not then dispute with thee on the matter but do thou invite

(them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right Way.

Quran confirms previous scriptures.

2:89 And when there comes to them a Book from Allah confirming what is with them although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without

faith when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognized they refused to believe in it; but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.

These people are liars,Their ancestors killed prophets. Quran confirms previous scriptures yet they reject Quran.

2:91 When it is said to them: "believe in what Allah hath sent down" they say "We believe in what was sent down to us"; yet they reject all besides

even if it be truth confirming what is with them. Say: "Why then have ye slain the prophets of Allah in times gone by if ye did indeed believe?"

Islam is no new faith,but its followed since Adam alai salaam set foot on earth.

41:43 Nothing is said to thee that was not said to the apostles before thee: That thy Lord has at His command (all) Forgiveness as well as a most

Grievous Penalty.

Revelations wer sent to people every people.

23:68 Do they not ponder over the Word (of Allah) or has anything (new) come to them that did not come to their fathers of old?

This is no innovation,its the same religion follwed by Allah prophets.

46:9 Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the apostles nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is

revealed to me by inspiration: I am but a Warner open and clear."

Noah alai salaam and Abraham alai salaam were prophets and in their line Allah established Prophethood and Revelation:

57:26 And We sent Noah and Abraham and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance but many of them

became rebellious transgressors.

Its the religion of Abraham alai salaam.

6:161 Say: "Verily my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight a religion of right the path (trod) by Abraham the true in faith and he

(certainly) joined not gods with Allah."

3: 95 Say: "Allah speaketh the truth: follow the religion of Abraham the sane in faith; he was not of the pagans."

People corrupted their beliefs.

57:27 Then in their wake We followed them up with (others of) Our apostles: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary and bestowed on him the Gospel; and

We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the monasticism which they invented for themselves We did not prescribe

for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed on

those among them who believed their (due) reward but many of them are rebellious transgressors.

Jews forgot good part of the message in Torah.

5:13 But because of their breach of their Covenant We cursed them and made their hearts grow hard: they change the words from their (right) places and

forget a good part of the Message that was sent them nor wilt thou cease to find them barring a few ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them and

overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.

Then Allah subhanawatala sent Isa alai salaam .

3:50 "(I have come to you) to attest the Law which was before me and to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have come to you

with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me.

Later christians also forgot good part of message.

5:14 From those too who call themselves Christians We did take a Covenant but they forgot a good part of the Message that was sent them: so We

estranged them with enmity and hatred between the one and the other to the Day of Judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.

Now follow Quran only.

5:15 O People of the Book! there hath come to you Our Apostle revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book and passing over much (that is now

unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) Light and a perspicuous Book

people used to ask questions about what is lawful and what is unlawful.

5:4 They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food): say: Lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting

animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah; eat what they catch for you but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for

Allah is swift in taking account.

5 This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them.

(Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers but chaste women among the People of the Book revealed before your time when

ye give them their due dowers and desire chastity not lewdness nor secret intrigues. If anyone rejects faith fruitless is his work and in the

Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).

4:127 They ask thy instruction concerning the women. Say: Allah doth instruct you about them: and (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in

the Book concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed and yet whom ye desire to marry as also concerning the children

who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do but Allah is well-acquainted therewith.

2:189 They ask thee concerning the new moons. Say: they are but signs to mark fixed periods of time in (the affairs of) men and for pilgrimage. It

is no virtue if ye enter your houses from the back; it is virtue if ye fear Allah. Enter houses through the proper doors and fear Allah that ye may

prosper.

20:112 But he who works deeds of righteousness and has faith will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due).

113 Thus have we sent this down an Arabic Qur'an and explained therein in detail some of the warnings in order that they may fear Allah or that it may

cause their remembrance (of Him).

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him,was not aware of details of rituals,rites,etc of Islam.So the concept of practicing tradition is

absolutely flawed.Becaue Allah subhanawatala sent new book ,where some laws are new,Islam is perfected with the revealation of Quran,It laws reached

saturation.

42:52 And thus have We by Our command sent inspiration to thee: thou knowest not (before) what was Revelation and what was Faith; but We have made the

(Qur'an) a Light wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way

2:129 "Our Lord! send amongst them an Apostle of their own who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom and

sanctify them; for Thou art the Exalted in Might the Wise."

2:151 A similar (favor have ye already received) in that We have sent among you an Apostle of your own rehearsing to you Our signs and sanctifying you

and instructing you in Scripture and wisdom and in new Knowledge

4:79 Whatever good (O man!) happens to thee is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee is from thy (own) soul. And We have sent thee as an Apostle

to (instruct) mankind: and enough is Allah for a witness.

30:30 So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (Establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no

change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not.

5: 3 ..............This day have I perfected your religion for you completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if

any forced by hunger with no inclination to transgression Allah is indeed Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

Conclusion:

Revelation came to prophet Muhammad peace be upon him,he leart everything and taught people,they wrote down books - Quran and hadith,both

were preserved in memory and in writings.

Prophet was not aware of many of beliefs earlier,those who followed previous scriptures,jews,christians etc corrupted their beliefs.Every thing was

revived.It was not pre-existent earlier in purity.Prophet learned not from other people but from revelations in Quran.

39:18,"Those who examine all words, then follow the best. These are the ones whom GOD has guided; these are the ones who possess intelligence."

Hence Quran says 17:36"You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the

brain, and you are responsible for using them."

Written Quran is the source of verifying the reciting Quran,written hadith is the source of verifying the reciting hadith.

Allah knows best.
