In the name of Allah most
gracious most merciful
Assalaamu alaykum wa
rahmatuallahi wa barakatahu
Read all the verses in the
light of this verse.
3:7 He it is Who has sent down
to thee the Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established
meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But
those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical
seeking discord and searching for its hidden meanings but no one knows its
hidden meanings except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge
say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord"; and
none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
2:79 Then woe to those who
write the Book with their own hands and then say: "This is from
Allah" to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woe to them for what
their hands do write and for the gain they make thereby.
*Here Jews wrote with their own hands, hence distortion
& corruption.
To jews was entrusted the
protection of Torah & they did’nt protected it.
5:44 It was We who revealed the law (to Moses); therein was guidance
and light. By its standard have been
judged the Jews by the Prophet who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah's will by the
Rabbis and the doctors of Law: for to them was entrusted the protection of
Allah's Book and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men but fear
Me and sell not My Signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath
revealed they are (no better than) unbelievers.
*Note:This was revealed
concerning capital punishments & they were not corrupted in Torah.
2:113 The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand)
upon"; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (to stand)
upon." Yet they (profess to) study
the (same) Book. Like unto their word
is what those say who know not but Allah will judge between them in their
quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
*Note:Jews & Christians
follow the same book .In 2:79 its proven that they corrupted the book. Now both
are following the same book which is corrupt.
And christains follow Injil
also.Another thing is they both claim to follow the Torah as well[Old testament
is corruption of Torah] yet they don’t accept the prophesy about the coming of
Prophet Muhammad [pbuh].They both quarrel as claiming eachother as wrong. But
both of them are wrong for its obvious as the book is corrupted.
A Detailed Study:
------------------------------
57:16 Has not the time arrived
for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the
remembrance of Allah and of the truth which has been revealed (to them) and
that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime
but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them
are rebellious transgressors.
* Here the verse says long
ages passed away & people no longer used to follow the commandments..
62:5The similitude of those
who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law but who subsequently
failed in those (obligations) is that of a donkey which carries huge tones (but
understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs
of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong.
*Here the verse says obligations were not fullowed, duties
were not fulfilled.Falsify the signs of Allah subhanawatala means two
things,verbally & textually.The signs in the nature[universe]cannot be
distorted.
3:3 It is He Who sent down to
thee (step by step) in truth the Book confirming what went before it; and He
sent down Law (Of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to
mankind and He sent down the Criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
Every book confirmed the
previous book.It means muslims believe in the message which was sent down as
told by Allah subhanawatala. The basic concepts like believing in
prophets,hereafter,judgement day,monotheism etc were always believed.Eveything
Quran confirms in previous scriptures is true & that which contradicts with
Quran is corrupted. And rest in known best by Allah whether its really revealed
or human additions.
5:12 Allah did aforetime take
a Covenant from the Children of Israel and We appointed twelve captains among them
and Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers
practice regular charity believe in My apostles honor and assist them and loan
to Allah a beautiful loan verily I will wipe out from you your evils and admit
you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you after this
resisteth faith he hath truly wandered from the path of rectitude."
*Here covenant is from
children of Israel …….
13 But because of their breach
of their Covenant We cursed them and made their hearts grow hard: they change
the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the Message that
was sent them nor wilt thou cease to find them barring a few ever bent on
(new) deceits: but forgive
them and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.
They changed the message from
the right places & forgot good part of message.
14 From those too who call
themselves Christians We did take a Covenant but they forgot a good part of the
Message that was sent them: so We estranged them with enmity and hatred between
the one and the other to the Day of Judgment. And soon will Allah show them
what it is they have done.
15 O People of the Book! there
hath come to you Our Apostle revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the
Book and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you
from Allah a (new) Light and a perspicuous Book.
*But they used to hide much.
3:113 Not all of them are
alike: of the People of the book are a portion that stand (for the right); they
rehearse the signs of Allah all night long and then prostrate themselves in
adoration.
*Note:Some followed the truth
from the book[they did’nt followed Injil & they were Jews because Christians
corrupted the book.Jews were not guilty of rejecting Injil as it was corrupted]
114 They believe in Allah and the Last
Day; they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong; and they (hasten in
emulation) in (all) good works; they are in the ranks of the righteous.
115
Of the good that they
do nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knoweth well those that do
right.
3:78 There is among them a
section who distort the Book with their tongues; (as they read) you would think
it is a part of the Book but it is no part of the Book; and they say "That
is from Allah" but it is not from Allah: it is they who tell a lie against
Allah and (well) they know it!
*Verbal distortion is proved.
42:14 And they became divided
only after knowledge reached them through selfish envy as between themselves.
Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord (tending) to a
Term appointed the matter would have been settled between them: but truly
those who have inherited the
Book after them are in suspicious (disquieting) doubt concerning it.
*People were in suspicion
& doubt about the book.
6:91 No just estimate of Allah
do they make when they say: "Nothing doth Allah send down to man (by way
of revelation)": Say: "Who then sent down the Book which Moses
brought? a light and guidance to man: but ye make it into (separate) sheets for
show while ye conceal
much (of its contents):
therein were ye taught that which ye knew not neither ye nor your
fathers." Say: "Allah (sent it down)": then leave them to plunge
in vain discourse and trifling
* They made sheets,concealed
truth & taught which was fake.Ther forged.
2:106 None of Our revelations do We abrogate or
cause to be forgotten but We substitute something better or similar; knowest
thou not that Allah hath power over all things?
*Note:The abrogation of previous scriptures "None of Our
revelations do We abrogate" but “we substitute something similar or
better.First part of the verse ifs for abrogating previous scriptures by Quran &
Allah subhanawatala did’nt caused them to forget beacsue he says in 5:13,14
that they break the covenant & forgot good part of the message.
3:71 Ye People of the Book!
Why do ye clothe truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while ye
have knowledge?
*Note:The truth is concealed.
2:41 And believe in what I reveal confirming the revelation which
is with you and be not the first to reject faith therein nor sell My Signs for
a small price: and fear Me and Me alone.
*Jews are commanded to accept
truth as it confirms the book they have.
2:42 And cover not Truth with falsehood nor conceal the Truth when
ye know (what it is).
Covering the truth means
taking certain parts of laws from the book
2:174 Those who conceal Allah's revelations in
the Book and purchase for them a miserable profit they swallow into themselves
naught but fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection nor
purify them; grievous will be their penalty .
*Note:Here concealing the
revelations ,as the complete book is not presented its not in its original
form,so its not book of God hence its corrupted book.
2:79 Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and
then say: "This is from Allah" to traffic with it for a miserable
price! Woe to them for what their hands do write and for the gain they make
thereby.
*Here Jews wrote with their own hands, hence distortion
& corruption.
9:9 The signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price and
(many) have they hindered from His way: evil indeed are the deeds they have
done.
Signs of Allah subhanawatala
were sold .They did’nt confirm the truth. Here signs are the
texts[verses-revelation].Other signs are in universe which they cannot change.
3:49 "And (appoint him) an Apostle to the Children of Israel
(with this message): I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I
make for you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird and breathe into it
and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave; and I heal those born blind and the
lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye
eat and what ye store in your houses.
Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.
50 "(I have come to you) to attest the Law which was before
me and to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have
come to you with a Sign from your Lord.
So fear Allah and obey me.
Jesus made lawful some parts
of what was unlawful to jews.Even after this they study the same Torah when the
laws are in Gospel[Injil] itself.
5:47 Let the people of the Gospel Judge by what Allah hath revealed
therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed
they are (no better than) those who rebel.*Note:This verse was revealed concerning
capital punishments,& they were not corrupted in the book.
4:171 O people of the Book! commit no excesses in your religion: nor
say of Allah aught but truth. Christ
Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an Apostle of Allah and His Word which
He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and
His Apostles. Say not
"Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One Allah:
glory be to him: (for Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and
on earth. And enough is Allah as a
Disposer of affairs.
5:17 In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the
son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath
the least power against Allah if His Will were to destroy Christ the son of
Mary his mother and all everyone that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the
heavens and the earth and all that is between.
He createth what He pleaseth.
For Allah hath power over all things.
Now follow Quran only.
-5:15 O People of the Book! there hath come to you Our Apostle
revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book and passing over much
(that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) Light and
a perspicuous Book.
2;62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an) and those who follow the
Jewish (Scriptures) and the Christians and the Sabians and who believe in Allah
and the last day and work righteousness shall have their reward with their
Lord; on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
*Note:Prophet Muhammad’s
[pbuh] advent is prophesed in previous scripture ,if they are following
whatever is correct in their scriptures then they ‘ll eventually believe in
Quran.
4:150 Those who deny Allah and his Apostles and (those who) wish to
separate Allah from His Apostles saying: "We believe in some but reject
others": and (those who) wish to take a course midway.
151 They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and We have prepared
for unbelievers a humiliating punishment.
*Note:Whoever rejects even one
prophet ,be it prophet Muhammad or any other prophet they then disbelieved.
3:81 Behold! Allah took the covenant of the Prophets saying: "I
give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you an Apostle confirming what is with
you; do ye believe him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree and take this My Covenant as
binding on you?" They said:
"We agree." He said: "Then bear witness and I am with you among
the witnesses."
7:157 Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read
nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which
are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that
which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for
them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters
that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honor him and help
him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.
The verse says: Prophet
Muhammad peace be upon him is described ,as he will enjoin good and forbid evil
ETC.
IN TORAH [OLD TESTAMENT] also
called TANAKH IN JUDAISM.
1. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED
IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:
Almighty God speaks to Moses
in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:
"I will raise them up a
Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in
his mouth; and he shall speak unto
them all that I shall command him."
The Christians say that this
prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh).
Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as
Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a
Prophet.
If these two are the only
criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible
who came after Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea,
Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.
However, it is Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):
i) Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born
miraculously without any male intervention.
[Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and
also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]
ii) Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to
the Bible did not marry nor had children.
iii) Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up
alive. (4:157-158)
Muhammad (pbuh) is from among
the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had
two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail
(pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh).Words in the mouth:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was
unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated
them verbatim.
"I will raise them up a
Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his
mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command
Him."[Deuteronomy 18:18]
iv) Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict
capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said,
"My kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36).
v) Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their
lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his people. John chapter 1 verse 11
states, "He came unto his own, but his own received him not."
iv) Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people.
Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).
2. It is Mentioned in the book
of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19
"And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my
name, I will require it of
him."
3. Muhammad (pbuh) is
prophesised in the book of Isaiah:
It is mentioned in the book of
Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:"And the book is delivered to him that is not
learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
When Archangel Gabrail
commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied,
"I am not learned".

His mouth is delicious, and

Jerusalem.
Now, the literal translation
of V'khulo machamadim is as follows:
Veh (and) Khul ((kol) everything)
'O (of his) machamadim (lovely/desired/delightful).
"and never have I seen
anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle (May the peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him)." [Saheeh Muslim, 30:5770]
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5794 Narrated
byJabir ibn Samurah
I saw the Prophet (peace be
upon him) on a cloudless night and began to look at Allah's Messenger and at
the moon. He was wearing a red robe, and he appeared more beautiful than the
moon to me.Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it.
Immediately after that, Haggai
2:9 says "The glory of this latter house shall be greatesr than the
former: and in this place will I give PEACE, saith the Lord of hosts."
So which latter house? Since
the last temple was destroyed by the Romans there has been no Jewish temple
rebuilt there. There only stands the Dome of the Rock and Masjid al Aqsa which
is certainly a place of "Peace" or Islam.
All the prophecies mentioned
in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews
also hold good for the Christians.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD [PBUH]
MENTIONED BY NAME IN NEW TESTAMENT.
Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6:
"And remember, Jesus, the
son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to
you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a
messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to
them with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' "
Christains considered it
sorcery as they actually found the name in their books.
Prophet Muhammad's name in
Gospel of barnabas.
Search hits for Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
One such example on that site Click
here
But christains dont recognise
Gospel of Barnabas as valid, its not included in Bible .Bible is
corrupted.Anything that Quran affirms in Bible is considered as the most
correct.
Following is the prophesy
where the name is corrupted but the context
proves the prophsey.
1. John chapter 14 verse 16:
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."
2. Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
"But when the Comforter
is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth,
which
proceedeth from the Father, he
shall testify of me."
3. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:
"Nevertheless I tell you
the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart,
I will send him unto you".
4. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:
"I have yet many things
to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth is
come, he will guide you unto
all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and he will
shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".
Explanation of above terms:
THE COMFORTER.
First:"Ahmed" or
"Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the
praised one" is almost the translation of the
Greek word Periclytos. In the
Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the
English translation for the Greek
word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
Paracletos is the warped
reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even
the
Greek word Paraclete refers to
the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.
Some Christians say that the
Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to
realise
that the prophecy clearly says
that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states
that the
Holy Spirit was already
present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of
Elizabeth, and again when Jesus
(pbuh) was being baptised, also in the following (Genesis 1:2 ),(1 Samuel
10:10),(1 Samuel 11:6), (Isaiah 63:11) , (Luke 1:15) , (Luke 1:35) , (Luke
1:41), (Luke 1:67) , (Luke 2:25), (Luke 2:26), (Luke 3:22),(John 20:21-22) .
Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).
But if we look at the case of
John 14:26, we find that it is the only verse of the Bible which associates the
Parakletos with the Holy Spirit. But if we were to go back to the "ancient
manuscripts" themselves, we would find that they are not all in agreement
that the "Parakletos" is the Holy Spirit. For instance, in the famous
the Codex Syriacus, written around the fifth century C.E., and discovered in
1812 on Mount Sinai by Mrs.Agnes S. Lewis (and Mrs. Bensley), the text of John
14:26 reads; "Paraclete, the Spirit"; and not "Paraclete, the
Holy Spirit."
In the famous "Anchor
Bible" we find the following quote: "The word parakletos is peculiar
in the NT to the Johnannine literature. In John ii Jesus is a parakletos (not a
title), serving as a heavenly intercessor with the Father ... Christian
tradition has identified this figure (Paraclete) as the Holy Spirit, but
scholars like Spitta, Delafosse, Windisch, Sasse, Bultmann, and Betz have
doubted whether this identification is true to the original picture and have
suggested that the Paraclete was once an independent salvific figure, later
confused with the Holy Spirit." (The Anchor Bible, Doubleday &
Company, Inc, Garden City, N.Y. 1970, Volume 29A, p. 1135)
"My little children,
these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an
advocate(parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John
2:1)
Notice how the translators
have managed to translate this exact same word one way (advocate) in reference
to Jesus (peace be upon him) and another (comforter) with regard to the coming
"parakletos." Why would they want to do such a thing? The reason is
that the translators did not want the Christians, after reading
"we have an
advocate(parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous"
to then read
"And I will pray the
Father, and he shall give you another advocate(parakletos)."
"The 'Paraclete' does not
signify either 'consoler' or 'advocate'; in truth, it is not a classical word
at all. The Greek orthography of the word is Paraklytos which in ecclesiastical
literature is made to mean 'one called to aid, advocate, intercessor' (Dict.
Grec.-Francais, by Alexandre). One need not profess to be a Greek scholar to
know that the Greek word for 'comforter or consoler' is not 'Paraclytos' but
'Paracalon'. I have no Greek version of the Septuagint with me, but I remember
perfectly well that the Hebrew word for 'comforter' (mnahem) in the
Lamentations of Jeremiah (I. 2, 9, 16, 17, 21, etc.) is translated into
Parakaloon, from the verb Parakaloo, which means to call to, invite, exhort,
console, pray, invoke. It should be noticed that there is a long alpha vowel
after the consonant kappa in the 'Paracalon' which does not exist in the
'Paraclytos.' In the phrase (He who consoles us in all our afflictions)
'paracalon' and not 'Paraclytos' is used. (I exhort, or invite, thee to work).
Many other examples can be cited here. There is another Greek word for
comforter or consoler, i.e. "Parygorytys' from 'I console'.....The proper
Greek term for 'advocate' is Sunegorus and for 'intercessor' or 'mediator'
Meditea" (Muhammad in the Bible,
Prof. Abdul-`Ahad Dawud, pp. 208-209)
Second, this verse states that
the "Paracletos," the "Comforter," would "abide with
you forever." How can this apply to Muhammad? The Muslim prophet has been
dead and buried for over 1,300 years. Answer to this is:Jesus (peace be upon
him) is quoted many times in the Bible as telling his followers that they will
never taste death.
"And I (Jesus) give unto
them (the believers) eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall
any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28)
and "and my servant David
[shall be] their prince forever." (Ezekiel 37:25).
and "The king shall joy
in thy strength, O LORD ... He asked life of thee, [and] thou gavest [it] him,
[even] length of days for ever and ever." (Psalm 21:1-4)
"Nor does he (Muhammad)
speak of his own desire. It is but an Inspiration that is inspired [unto
him]" (The noble Qur'an, Al-Najm(53):3-4)
SPIRIT OF TRUTH /SPIRIT: Bible
refers to "Human Prophets" and not Ghost Spirits.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Beloved, believe not
every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world," (1 John 4:1-3)
Therefore, there is ample
proofs that Jesus predicted a coming of a Human Comforter and not the Holy
Spirit as Christians falsely believe.
The advocate and the Glorified one that was foretold by Jesus is a Human
Prophet and not a Holy Ghost. This
human prophet is Muhammad peace be upon him, and the the Noble Quran, the
revelation that Muhammad brought from Allah Almighty is what "will abide
with us forever" as Jesus said.
"Son of God"
literally means "Servant of God" in Hebrew
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew 12:18: "Behold my
servant, whom I have chosen."
Acts 3:13(RSV): "The God
of Abraham, and of Isaac,.... hath glorified his servant Jesus."
Acts 4:27(RSV): "For of a
truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou hast anointed...."
Father is a general term for
the one who holds the ultimate authority.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is Jesus (pbuh) a divine son
of God because he called God "Father"? Well, how do all Christians
refer to Him? What does Jesus himself have to tell us in this regard? Let us
read
"That ye may be the
children of your Father which is in heaven..." Matthew 5:45
and "Be ye therefore
perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew
5:48:...etc.
There are countless verses in
the Bible to this effect. To understand what is meant by the reference to
"Father" we need only read John 8:42:
"Jesus said unto them, If
God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from
God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me."
So the love of God and His
prophets is what makes God someone's "father." Similarly,
"Ye are of your father
the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." John 8:44
Obviously neither the Devil
nor God is the physical father of any of them. The term "Father" in
that day and age was used by the Jews in the same sense that Christians use the
word "father" today to address a priest. It was not meant to be taken
literally. Otherwise, the Bible would bear witness that every believer in Jesus
(pbuh) is also the "physical" son of God.
Further, please note that
Joseph is called a "father" to Pharaoh in Genesis 45:8, and Job is called
the "father" of the poor in Job 29:16. Once we read all of this we
begin to understand how the Jews used to understand the reference to God
Almighty as "Father."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith
3.850 Narrated byUbaidullah bin
Abdullah bin Utba
Ibn Abbas said, "O
Muslims? How do you ask the people of the Scriptures, though your Book (i.e.
the Qur'an) which was revealed to His Prophet is the most recent information
from Allah and you recite it, the Book that has not been distorted? Allah has
revealed to you that the people of the Scriptures have changed with their own
hands what was revealed to them and they have said (as regards their changed
Scriptures): This is from Allah, in order to get some worldly benefit
thereby." Ibn Abbas added: "Isn't the knowledge revealed to you
sufficient to prevent you from asking them? By Allah I have never seen any one
of them asking (Muslims) about what has been revealed to you."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.614 Narrated byUbaidullah bin Abdullah
'Abdullah bin 'Abbas said,
"O the group of Muslims! How can you ask the people of the Scriptures
about anything while your Book which Allah has revealed to your Prophet
contains the most recent news from Allah and is pure and not distorted? Allah
has told you that the people of the Scriptures have changed some of Allah's
Books and distorted it and wrote something with their own hands and said, 'This
is from Allah,' so as to have a minor gain for it. Won't the knowledge that has
come to you stop you from asking them? No, by Allah, we have never seen a man
from them asking you about that (the Book Al-Qur'an ) which has been revealed
to you."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 5.281 Narrated byIbn Abbas
They, the people of the
Scriptures, divided this Scripture into parts, believing in some portions of it
and disbelieving the others. (See 15.91)
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.613 Narrated byIkrima
Ibn 'Abbas said, "How can
you ask the people of the Scriptures about their Books while you have Allah's
Book (the Qur'an) which is the most recent of the Books revealed by Allah, and
you read it in its pure undistorted form?"
The Jews used to explain Torah
but their book was corrupted so what is divine & what is added by humans
cannot be determined with certainity ,but only that which Quran affirms can be
affirmed as truth so do not say “we
believe or disbelieve”
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith
6.12 Narrated byAbu Huraira
The people of the Scripture
(Jews) used to recite the Torah in Hebrew and they used to explain it in Arabic
to the Muslims. On that Allah's Apostle said, "Do not believe the people
of the Scripture or disbelieve them, but say: "We believe in Allah and
what is revealed to us."
(2.136)
2:136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah and the revelation given
to us and to Abraham Isma`il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes and that given to Moses
and Jesus and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord we make no
difference between one and another of them and we bow to Allah (in
Islam)."
61:6 And remember Jesus the son of Mary
said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you
confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad Tidings of an Apostle
to come after me whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with
Clear Signs they said "This is evident sorcery!"
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith
6.419 Narrated byJubair bin Mutim
I heard Allah's Apostle
saying, "I have several names: I am Muhammad and I am Ahmad, and I am Al-Mahi
with whom Allah obliterates Kufr (disbelief), and I am Al-Hashir (gatherer) at
whose feet (i.e. behind whom) the people will be gathered (on the Day of
Resurrection), and I am Al-Aqib (i.e. who succeeds the other prophets in
bringing about good)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith
4.732 Narrated byJubair bin Mutim
Allah's Apostle said, "I
have five names: I am Muhammad and Ahmad; I am Al-Mahi through whom Allah will
eliminate infidelity; I am Al-Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected,
the people being resurrected there after; and I am also Al-'Aqib (i.e. There
will be no prophet after me)."
Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 5813 Narrated byAbuMusa Ash'ari
Allah's Messenger (peace be
upon him) mentioned many names of his and said: I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Muqaffi
(the last in succession) Hashir, the Prophet of repentance, and the Prophet of
Mercy.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith
3.335 Narrated byAta bin Yasar
I met Abdullah bin 'Amr bin
Al-'As and asked him, "Tell me about the description of Allah's Apostle which
is mentioned in Torah (i.e. Old Testament.)" He replied, "Yes. By
Allah, he is described in Torah with some of the qualities attributed to him in
the Qur'an as follows:
'O Prophet! We have sent you
as a witness (for Allah's True religion) And a giver of glad tidings (to the
faithful believers), And a warner (to the unbelievers) And guardian of the
illiterates. You are My slave and My messenger (i.e. Apostle). I have named you
"Al-Mutawakkil" (who depends upon Allah). You are neither discourteous,
harsh Nor a noisemaker in the markets And you do not do evil to those Who do
evil to you, but you deal With them with forgiveness and kindness. Allah will
not let him (the Prophet) Die till he makes straight the crooked people by
making them say: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,"
With which will be opened blind eyes And deaf ears and enveloped hearts.'
"
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5772 Narrated
byAbdullah ibn Salam
The description of Muhammad is
written in the Torah and also that Jesus, son of Mary, will be buried along
with him. AbuMawdud said that a place for a grave had remained in the
house.Tirmidhi transmitted it.
