O Prophet (MuhammadSAW )! Verily, We have sent you as witness, and a bearer of

We will bring you as a witness and guardian against all those."
The
Book of Prayers (Kitab Al-Salat) Muslim
:: Book 4 : Hadith 1752
Ibrahim
reported that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) asked 'Abdullah b.
Mas'ud to recite to him (the Qur'an). He said: Should I recite it to you while
it has been sent down or revealed to you? He (the Holy Prophet) said: I love to
hear it from someone else. So he ('Abdullah b. Mas'ud) recited to him (from the
beginning of Surat al Nisa' up to the verse:" How shall then it be when
We bring from every people a witness and bring you as a witness against
them?" He (the Holy Prophet) wept (on listening to it). It is narrated
on the authority of Ibn Mas'ud through another chain of transmitters that the
Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) also said that he had been a witness
to his people as long as (said he): I lived among them or I had been among
them.
Prophetic
Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)) Bukhari :: Book 6 :: Volume 60 :: Hadith 106
Narrated
Abdullah bin Masud: Allah's Apostle said to me, "Recite (of the Qur'an)
for me," I said, "Shall I recite it to you although it had been
revealed to you?" He said, "I like to hear (the Qur'an) from
others." So I recited Surat-an-Nisa' till I reached: "How (will it
be) then when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (O
Muhammad) as a witness against these people?" (4.41) Then he said,
"Stop!" And behold, his eyes were overflowing with tears."
48:
8. Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as a witness, as a bearer of glad
tidings, and as a warner.
Prophetic
Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)) Bukhari :: Book 6 :: Volume 60 :: Hadith 362
Narrated Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As: This Verse: 'Verily We have sent you (O
Muhammad) as a witness, as a bringer of glad tidings and as a warner.' (48.8)
Which
is in the Qur'an, appears in the Surah thus: 'Verily We have sent you (O
Muhammad) as a witness, as a bringer of glad tidings and as a warner, and as a
protector for the illiterates (i.e., the Arabs.) You are my slave and My
Apostle, and I have named you Al-Mutawakkil (one who depends upon Allah). You
are neither hard-hearted nor of fierce character, nor one who shouts in the
markets. You do not return evil for evil, but excuse and forgive. Allah will
not take you unto Him till He guides through you a crocked (curved) nation on
the right path by causing them to say: "None has the right to be
worshipped but Allah." With such a statement He will cause to open blind
eyes, deaf ears and hardened hearts.'
Our
Prophet will be a Witness Against, or For his Ummah on the Day of Resurrection,
When the Disbelievers Will Wish for Death
Allah
said,
(How
(will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O
Muhammad) as a witness against these people) Allah describes the horrors,
hardships and difficulties of the Day of Resurrection, saying, how would it be
on that Day when there will be a witness from every nation, meaning the
Prophets, just as Allah said;
(And
the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the Book will be placed
(open); and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward), and,
(And
(remember) the Day when We shall raise up from every nation a witness against
them from amongst themselves). Al-Bukhari recorded that `Abdullah bin Mas`ud
said, "The Messenger of Allah said to me, `Recite to me.' I said, `O
Messenger of Allah! Should I recite (the Qur'an) to you, while it was revealed
to you' He said, `Yes, for I like to hear it from other people.' I recited
Surat An-Nisa' until I reached this Ayah,
(How
(will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O
Muhammad) as a witness against these people) He then said, `Stop now.' I found
that his eyes were tearful.'' Allah's statement,
(On
that day those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that they
were buried in the earth, but they will never be able to hide a single fact
from Allah.) means, they will wish that the earth would open up and swallow
them because of the horror of the gathering place and the disgrace, dishonor
and humiliation they will suffer on that Day. This is similar to Allah's
statement,
(The
Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth) Allah
then said,
(but
they will never be able to hide a single fact from Allah.) indicating that they
will admit to everything they did and will not hide any of it. `Abdur-Razzaq
recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr said, "A man came to Ibn `Abbas and said to
him, `There are things that confuse me in the Qur'an.' Ibn `Abbas said, `What
things do you have doubts about in the Qur'an' He said, `Not doubts, but rather
confusing things.' Ibn `Abbas said, `Tell me what caused you confusion.' He
said, `I hear Allah's statement,
(There
will then be no test for them but to say: "By Allah, our Lord, we were not
those who joined others in worship with Allah.'') but He also says,
(but
they will never be able to hide a single fact from Allah.) They have indeed hid
something.' Ibn `Abbas said, `As for Allah's statement,
(There
will then be no test for them but to say: "By Allah, our Lord, we were not
those who joined others in worship with Allah.''), when they see that on the
Day of Resurrection that Allah does not forgive, except for the people of
Islam, and that He forgives the sins, no matter how big they are, except Shirk,
then the Mushriks will lie. They will say,
("By
Allah, our Lord, we were not those who joined others in worship with Allah.''),
hoping that Allah will forgive them. However, Allah will then seal their
mouths, and their hands and feet will disclose what they used to do. Then,
(those
who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that they were buried in
the earth, but they will never be able to hide a single fact from Allah.
2:143.
Thus We have made you [true Muslims - real believers of Islâmic Monotheism,
true followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways)], a Wasat
(just) (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the
Messenger (Muhammad SAW) be a witness over you. And We made the Qiblah
(prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those
who followed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from those who would turn on their
heels (i.e. disobey the Messenger). Indeed it was great (heavy) except for
those whom Allâh guided. And Allâh would never make your faith (prayers) to be
lost (i.e. your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, Allâh is full of
kindness, the Most Merciful towards mankind.
Prophetic
Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)) Bukhari :: Book 6 :: Volume 60 :: Hadith 14
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Allah's
Apostle said, "Noah will be called on the Day of Resurrection and he will say,
'Labbaik and Sa'daik, O my Lord!' Allah will say, 'Did you convey the Message?'
Noah will say, 'Yes.' His nation will then be asked, 'Did he convey the Message
to you?' They will say, 'No Warner came to us.' Then Allah will say (to Noah),
'Who will bear witness in your favor?' He will say, 'Muhammad and his
followers. So they (i.e. Muslims) will testify that he conveyed the Message.
And the Apostle (Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves, and that is what
is meant by the Statement of Allah "Thus We have made of you a just and
the best nation that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Apostle
(Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves."
(2.143)
Allah
said: (Thus We have made you ?true Muslims?, a Wasat (just) (and the best)
nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad ) be a
witness over you.)Allah stated that He has changed our Qiblah to the Qiblah of
Ibrahim and chose it for us so that He makes us the best nation ever. Hence, we
will be the witnesses over the nations on the Day of Resurrection, for all of
them will then agree concerning our virtue. The word Wasat in the Ayah means
the best and the most honored. Therefore, saying that (the Prophet's tribe)
Quraysh is in the Wasat regarding Arab tribes and their areas, means the best.
Similarly, saying that Allah's Messenger was in the Wasat of his people, means
he was from the best subtribe. Also, `Asr, the prayer that is described as
`Wusta' (a variation of the word Wasat), means the best prayer, as the
authentic collections of Ahadith reported. Since Allah made this Ummah (Muslim
nation) the Wasat, He has endowed her with the most complete legislation, the
best Manhaj (way, method, etc.,) and the clearest Madhhab (methodology,
mannerism, etc). Allah said:
(He
has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islamic Monotheism to mankind), and
has not laid upon you in religion any hardship: it is the religion of your
father Ibrahim. It is He (Allah) Who has named you Muslims both before and in
this (the Qur'an), that the Messenger (Muhammad ) may be a witness over you and
you be witnesses over mankind!) (22:78)
Moreover,
Imam Ahmad reported that Abu Sa`id narrated: Allah's Messenger said:
(Nuh
will be called on the Day of Resurrection and will be asked, `Have you conveyed
(the Message)' He will say, `Yes.' His people will be summoned and asked, `Has
Nuh conveyed (the Message) to you' They will say, `No warner came to us and no
one (Prophet) was sent to us.' Nuh will be asked, `Who testifies for you' He
will say, `Muhammad and his Ummah.')This is why Allah said:(Thus We have made
you a Wasat nation.)
The
Prophet said; (The Wasat means the `Adl (just). You will be summoned to testify
that Nuh has conveyed (his Message), and I will attest to your testimony.)It
was also recorded by Al-Bukhari, At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah.
Imam
Ahmad also reported that Abu Sa`id Khudri narrated: Allah's Messenger said:
(The
Prophet would come on the Day of Resurrection with two or more people (his only
following!), and his people would also be summoned and asked, `Has he (their
Prophet) conveyed (the Message) to you' They would say, `No.' He would be
asked, `Have you conveyed (the Message) to your people' He would say, `Yes.' He
would be asked, `Who testifies for you' He would say, `Muhammad and his Ummah.'
Muhammad and his Ummah would then be summoned and asked, `Has he conveyed (the
Message) to his people' They would say, `Yes.' They would be asked, `Who told
you that' They would say, `Our Prophet (Muhammad) came to us and told us that
the Messengers have conveyed (their Messages). ')
Hence
Allah's statement:(Thus We have made you a Wasat nation.)
He
said, "(meaning) the `Adl,' (he then continued reciting the Ayah):
(Thus
We have made you, a just (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over
mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad ) be a witness over you.)''
Furthermore,
Imam Ahmad reported that Abul-Aswad narrated: I came to Al-Madinah and found
that an epidemic had broken out that caused many fatalities. I sat next to
`Umar bin Al-Khattab once when a funeral procession started and the people
praised the dead person. `Umar said, "Wajabat (it will be recorded as
such), Wajabat!'' Then another funeral was brought forth and the people criticized
the dead person. Again, `Umar said, "Wajabat.'' Abul-Aswad asked,
"What is Wajabat, O Leader of the faithful'' He said, "I said just
like Allah's Messenger had said:
(Any
Muslim for whom four testify that he was righteous, then Allah will enter him
into Paradise.' We said, `What about three' He said, `And three.' We said, `And
two' He said, `And two.' We did not ask him about (the testimony) of one
(believing) person.)''
This
was also recorded by Al-Bukhari, At-Tirmidhi, and An-Nasa'i.
Ibn
`Abbaas reported that `Umar ibn al Khattaab during his caliphate told him:
"O
Ibn `Abbaas, do you know what made me say what I said when the Messenger of
Allah, peace be on him, passed away?" I replied: "I do not know, O
Ameer al Mu'mineen. You know better." `Umar then said: "By God, the
only thing which made me say that was this verse of the Qur'an I used to read:
`Thus have We made of you an Ummah justly balanced, that you might be witnesses
over people, and the Prophet is a witness over you' (2: 143). By God, I used to
think that the Prophet, peace be on him, would remain among his Ummah so that
he could be a witness over it till the last of its deeds. That is what made me
say what I said."
It
seems that `Umar had made an independent interpretation of the verse and
concluded that "witnessing" applied to the whole span of life in this
world. This would have required the Prophet to remain alive till the end of the
Ummah's days.
Ibn
Hishaam, Seerah, 2/661, 666. It is related that `Umar ibn al Khattaab said
something similar when he gave his oath of allegiance (bay`ah) to Aboo Bakr in
the Prophet's mosque.
And
you ('O' Prophet) were not with them (present) when they cast their pens(to decide)
which of them should be Mary's guardian." (3 :44)
"The
Prophet was not present when Musa was called upon Tur" (28 :46)
('O'
Prophet) Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant.
" (105 :1)
Tafsir
Ibn ‘Abbas on 105:1
And
from his narration on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that he said about the
interpretation of Allah's saying (Hast thou not seen): '(Hast thou not seen)
i.e. have you not been informed, O Muhammad, in the Qur'an (how thy Lord dealt
with) how your Lord punished and destroyed (the owners of the Elephant) the
people of the Negus who intended to destroy the House of Allah?
Tafsir
al-Jalalayn on 105:1
Have
you not considered (an interrogative meant to provoke marvel, in other words,
'marvel at') the way in which your Lord dealt with the Men of the Elephant?,
who was named Mahmūd, and the men were Abraha, King of Yemen and his
troops. He had built a church in San'ā' in order to divert pilgrims away
from Mecca to it. A man from among the Banū Kināna defecated in it and
stained its prayer niche with a deflowered virgin's blood, in contempt of it.
Abraha then swore that he would knock down the Ka'ba. So he approached Mecca
with his troops riding Yemeni elephants with Mahmūd at the vanguard. But
when they turned to destroy the Ka'ba, God unleashed upon them what He relates
in His words:
11:49. This is of the news of
the unseen which We reveal unto you (O Muhammad SAW), neither you nor your
people knew them before this. So be patient. Surely, the (good) end is for the
Muttaqűn (pious - see V.2:2)
57. "So if you turn away,
still I have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will
make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least.
Surely, my Lord is Guardian over all things."
100. These are some of the
news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of
them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped.
12:102. This is of the news of
the Ghaib (unseen) which We reveal by Inspiration to you (O Muhammad SAW ). You
were not (present) with them when they arranged their plan together, and (also,
while) they were plotting.
13:40. Whether We show you (O
Muhammad SAW) part of what We have promised them or cause you to die, your duty
is only to convey (the Message) and on Us is the reckoning.
14:9. Has not the news reached
you, of those before you, the people of Nűh (Noah), and 'Ad, and Thamud? And
those after them? None knows them but Allâh. To them came their Messengers with
clear proofs, but they put their hands in their mouths (biting them from anger)
and said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent,
and we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us (i.e.
Islâmic Monotheism)."
Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alahi wa sallam Did Not Know
Prophetic
Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh)) Bukhari :: Book 6 :: Volume 60 :: Hadith 264
Narrated
Ibn Abbas: The Prophet delivered a sermon and said, "You (people) will be
gathered before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection) bare-footed, naked and
uncircumcised." (The Prophet then recited):-- 'As We began the first
creation We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise We have undertaken and truly We
shall do it.' and added, "The first man who will be dressed on the Day of
Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought
and taken towards the left side, whereupon I will say, 'O Lord, (these are) my
companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what new things they
introduced (into the religion) after you.' I will then say as the righteous
pious slave, Jesus, said, 'I was a witness over them while I dwelt among
them...(to His Statement)..and You are the Witness to all things.' (5.117) Then
it will be said, '(O Muhammad) These people never stopped to apostate since you
left them."
5:117.
"Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allâh) did command me to
say: 'Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them
while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over
them, and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and
warning to the Christians of the whole world).

:: Book 40 : Hadith 6847 This hadith has been narrated through other chains of

Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon, he said: 0
people, Allah would make you assemble barefooted, naked and uncircumcised (and
then recited the words of the Qur'an):" As We created you for the first

perform it, and the first person who would be clothed on the Day of
Resurrection would be (Hadrat) Ibrahim (peace be upon him)" and, behold!
some persons of my Ummah would be brought and taken to the left and I would
say: My Lord, they are my companions, and it would be said: You do not know
what they did after you, and I would say just as the pious servant (Hadrat
'Isa) said:, I was a witness regarding them as I remained among them and
Thou art a witness over everything, so if Thou chastisest them, they are Thy
servants and if Thou for- givest them, Thou art Mighty, Wise" (v.
117-118). And it would be said to him: They constantly turned to their heels
since you left them. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Waki'

The
Prophet delivered to us a sermon on the Day of Nahr. He said, "Do you know
what is the day today?" We said, "Allah and His Apostle know
better." He remained silent till we thought that he might give that day
another name. He said, "Isn't it the Day of Nahr?" We said, "It
is." He further asked, "Which month is this?" We said, "Allah
and His Apostle know better." He remained silent till we thought that he
might give it another name. He then said, "Isn't it the month of
Dhul-Hijja?" We replied: "Yes! It is." He further asked,
"What town is this?" We replied, "Allah and His Apostle know it
better." He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another
name. He then said, "Isn't it the forbidden (Sacred) town (of
Mecca)?" We said, "Yes. It is." He said, "No doubt, your
blood and your properties are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this
day of yours, in this month of yours, in this town of yours, till the day you
meet your Lord. No doubt! Haven't I conveyed Allah's message to you? They said,
"Yes." He said, "O Allah! Be witness. So it is incumbent upon
those who are present to convey it (this information) to those who are absent
because the informed one might comprehend it (what I have said) better than the
present audience, who will convey it to him. Beware! Do not renegade (as)
disbelievers after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one
another."

Muhammad
b. Qais said (to the people): Should I not narrate to you (a hadith of the Holy
Prophet) on my authority and on the authority of my mother? We thought that he
meant the mother who had given him birth. He (Muhammad b. Qais) then reported
that it was 'A'isha who had narrated this: Should I not narrate to you about
myself and about the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)? We said: Yes.
She said: When it was my turn for Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to
spend the night with me, he turned his side, put on his mantle and took off his
shoes and placed them near his feet, and spread the corner of his shawl on his
bed and then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of
his mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out
and then closed it lightly. I covered my head, put on my veil and tightened my
waist wrapper, and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi'. He
stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times,
and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also
hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came (to the house) and I also came
(to the house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I
lay down in the bed, he (the Holy Prophet) entered the (house), and said:
Why is it, O 'A'isha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He
said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of
Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the
whole story). He said: Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front
of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then
said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with
you? She said: Whatsoever the people
conceal, Allah will know it. He said: Gabriel came to me when you saw me. He
called me and he concealed it from you. I responded to his call, but I too
concealed it from you (for he did not come to you), as you were not fully
dressed. I thought that you had gone to sleep, and I did not like to awaken
you, fearing that you may be frightened. He (Gabriel) said: Your Lord has
commanded you to go to the inhabitants of Baqi' (to those lying in the graves)
and beg pardon for them. I said: Messenger of Allah, how should I pray for them
(How should I beg forgiveness for them)? He said: Say, Peace be upon the
inhabitants of this city (graveyard) from among the Believers and the Muslims,
and may Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us, and those who come
later on, and we shall, God willing, join you.

That
he heard 'Umar's second speech he delivered when he sat on the pulpit on the
day following the death of the Prophet 'Umar recited the Tashahhud while Abu
Bakr was silent. 'Umar said, "I wish that Allah's Apostle had outlived all
of us, i.e., had been the last (to die). But if Muhammad is dead, Allah
nevertheless has kept the light amongst you from which you can receive the same
guidance as Allah guided Muhammad with that. And Abu Bakr is the companion
of Allah's Apostle He is the second of the two in the cave. He is the most
entitled person among the Muslims to manage your affairs. Therefore get up and
swear allegiance to him." Some people had already taken the oath of
allegiance to him in the shed of Bani Sa'ida but the oath of allegiance taken
by the public was taken at the pulpit. I heard 'Umar saying to Abu Bakr on that
day. "Please ascend the pulpit," and kept on urging him till he
ascended the pulpit whereupon, all the people swore allegiance to him.

he was asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Has there been any change in the

prayed so much and so much." So the Prophet bent his legs, faced the Qibla
and performed two prostrations (of Sahu) and finished his prayers with Tasiim
(by turning his face to right and left saying:
'As-Salamu'Alaikum-Warahmat-ullah'). When he turned his face to us he said,
"If there had been anything changed in the prayer, surely I would have
informed you but I am a human being like you and liable to forget like you. So
if I forget remind me and if anyone of you is doubtful about his prayer, he
should follow what he thinks to be correct and complete his prayer accordingly

(the
wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle heard some people quarreling at the door
of his dwelling. He came out and said, "I am only a human being, and
opponents come to me (to settle their problems); maybe someone amongst you can
present his case more eloquently than the other, whereby I may consider him
true and give a verdict in his favor. So, If I give the right of a Muslim to
another by mistake, then it is really a portion of (Hell) Fire, he has the
option to take or give up (before the Day of Resurrection)." (See Hadith

Prophets Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 55 :: Hadith 657
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's
Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son
of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just
Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya
(i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that
nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be
better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira added
"If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there
is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe
in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death.
And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them." (4.159)

Volume
6, Book 60, Number 14: (Sahih Bukhari)Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Allah's
Apostle said, "Noah will be called on the Day of Resurrection and he will
say, 'Labbaik and Sa'daik, O my Lord!' Allah will say, 'Did you convey the
Message?' Noah will say, 'Yes.' His nation will then be asked, 'Did he convey
the Message to you?' They will say, 'No Warner came to us.' Then Allah will say
(to Noah), 'Who will bear witness in your favor?' He will say, 'Muhammad and
his followers. So they (i.e. Muslims) will testify that he conveyed the
Message. And the Apostle (Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves, and that
is what is meant by the Statement of Allah "Thus We have made of you a
just and the best nation that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Apostle
(Muhammad) will be a witness over yourselves." (2.143)

deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed (Paradise)." Then
another funeral procession passed by and the people talked badly of the
deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed (Hell)." Allah's
Apostle was asked, "O Allah's Apostle! You said it has been affirmed for
both?" The Prophet said, "The testimony of the people (is accepted),

Anas
b. Malik reported: There passed a bier (being carried by people) and it was
lauded in good terms. Upon this the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him)
said: It has become certain, it has become certain, it has become certain. And
there passed a bier and it was condemned in bad words. Upon this the Apostle of
Allah (may peace be upon him) said: It has become certain, it has become

has become certain, it has become certain, it has become certain. And there
passed a bier and it was condemned in bad words, and you said: It has become
certain, it has become certain, it has become certain. Upon this the Messenger
of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: He whom you praised in good terms,
Paradise has become certain for him, and he whom you condemned in bad words, Hell
has become certain for him. You are Allah's witnesses in the earth, you are
Allah's witnesses in the earth, you are Allah's witnesses in the earth.
33:6.
The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives
are their (believers') mothers (as regards respect and marriage). And blood
relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allâh
(regarding inheritance) than (the brotherhood of) the believers and the
Muhajirűn (emigrants from Makkah, etc.), except that you do kindness to those
brothers (when the Prophet SAW joined them in brotherhood ties). This has been
written in the (Allâh's Book of Divine) Decrees (AlLauh AlMahfűz)."

Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah) Dawud :: Book 40 : Hadith 4705 Narrated
Al-Abbas ibn AbdulMuttalib: I was sitting in al-Batha with a company among whom
the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) was sitting, when a cloud passed above
them. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) looked at it and said: What do
you call this? They said: Sahab. He said: And muzn? They said: And muzn. He
said: And anan? They said: And anan. AbuDawud said: I am not quite confident
about the word anan. He asked: Do you know the distance between Heaven and
Earth? They replied: We do not know. He then said: The distance between them is
seventy-one, seventy-two, or seventy-three years. The heaven which is above it
is at a similar distance (going on till he counted seven heavens). Above the
seventh heaven there is a sea, the distance between whose surface and bottom is
like that between one heaven and the next. Above that there are eight mountain
goats the distance between whose hoofs and haunches is like the distance
between one heaven and the next. Then Allah, the Blessed and the Exalted, is
above that.
Selective Quranic Verses
Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "And keep thy soul
content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His face
and let not thine eyes pass beyond them." (Sura Kahaf 18: 28)
Tafsir By Ibn kathir on 18:28 (And
keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and
afternoon, seeking His Face;) meaning, sit with those who remember Allah, who
say "La Ilaha Illallah'', who praise Him, glorify Him, declare His
greatness and call on Him, morning and evening, all the servants of Allah,
whether rich or poor, strong or weak. It was said that this was revealed about
the nobles of Quraysh when they asked the Prophet to sit with them on his own,
and not to bring his weak Companions with him, such as Bilal, `Ammar, Suhayb,
Khabbab and Ibn Mas`ud. They wanted him to sit with them on his own, but Allah
forbade him from doing that, and said,(And turn not away those who invoke their
Lord, morning and afternoon.) Allah commanded him to patiently content himself
with sitting with those people (the weak believers), and said:(And keep
yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and afternoon...)
9:94
They will make excuse to you (Muslims) when ye return unto them. Say: Make no
excuse, for we shall not believe you. Allah hath told us tidings of you. Allah and
His messenger will see your conduct, and then ye will be brought back unto Him
Who knoweth the Invisible as well as the Visible, and He will tell you what ye
used to do.
*Note:Allah
informed Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alahi wa salam about hypocrites,Allah and
Rasool Allah salla lahu alahi wa salla will see their conduct, observe their
conduct ,and they will be brought back to Allah.
(2:278-279]O ye who
believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye
are indeed believers, If ye do it not, Take notice of war from Allah and His
Messenger: But if ye turn back, ye shall have your capital sums: Deal not
unjustly, and ye shall not be dealt with unjustly.
*Note:1.This is war for liberation of debtors unjustly dealt
with and oppressed during Prophet’s period.
*Note 2: Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs on 2:278,279 -(And if ye do not) if
you do not abstain from usury, (then be warned of war (against you) from Allah
and His Messenger) then be ready for a torment from God in the Hereafter by
means of the Fire and its chastisement and also be ready for the sword from His
Messenger in the life of this world. (And if ye repent) from usury, (then ye
have your principal (without interest)) that is owed to you by the Banu
Makhzum. (Wrong not) anyone by demanding interest, (and ye shall not be
wronged) by anyone if they give you back your capitals; it is also said that
'wrong not' means: do not harm others; and 'you shall not be wronged' meaning:
you shall not be harmed because of your debts.
49:7
And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you
*Note:It
Means alive amongst them before his death
9:94
Allah and His Messenger will see your conduct
*Note:It
Means seeing conduct, observing when he was alive amongst them before his death.
9:105 Act! Allah will behold your actions, and (so
will) His Messenger and the believers
*Note:Tafsir
ibn kathir:Mujahid said that this Ayah carries a warning from Allah to those
who defy His orders. Their deeds will be shown to Allah, Blessed and Most
Honored, and to the Messenger and the believers. This will certainly occur on
the Day of Resurrection, just as Allah said,
(That
Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden.)
3:81 Allah Most High said [When Allah made (His) convenant with
the Prophets] until He said [you shall believe in him and you shall help him]
Tafsir ibn Abbas:Allah then
explained His covenant with the prophets on the day of “Yes, indeed!” regarding
Muhammad's traits and description, saying: (When Allah made (His) covenant with
the Prophets) He says: Allah made a covenant with the prophets that they will
show to one another the traits, description and merit of Muhammad, ((He said):
Behold that which I have given ye) when I did give you (of the Scripture and
knowledge) containing details of the lawful and the unlawful. (And) you also
made a covenant with your nation that (afterward there will come unto you a
messenger, confirming) by calling to Allah's divine Oneness (that which ye
possess) of Scripture. (Ye shall believe in him) He says: you shall acknowledge
him and his virtue (and ye shall help him) with the sword against his enemies
and also by expositing his trait. (He said: Do ye agree?) Allah asked them
whether they accepted (and will you take My burden) My covenant (in this) what
I said? (They) the prophets (answered: We agree) we accept. (He) Allah (said:
Then bear ye witness) of this. (I will be a witness with you) of this also.
Allah thus made them witnesses of one another and He Himself is a witness. And
so each prophet explained this to his nation, and each prophet made the members
of his nation witnesses for each other, just as each prophet bore witness to
it.
Tafsir ibn kathir: Allah
states that He took a pledge from every Prophet whom He sent from Adam until
`Isa, that when Allah gives them the Book and the Hikmah, thus acquiring
whatever high grades they deserve, then a Messenger came afterwards, they would
believe in and support him. Even though Allah has given the Prophets the
knowledge and the prophethood, this fact should not make them refrain from
following and supporting the Prophet who comes after them. This is why Allah,
the Most High, Most Honored, said
(And (remember) when Allah took the covenant of the Prophets,
saying: "Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah.'') meaning, if
I give you the Book and the Hikmah,
("and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger
confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him.''
Allah said, "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up Isri'')Ibn `Abbas,
Mujahid, Ar-Rabi`, Qatadah and As-Suddi said that `Isri' means, "My
covenant.'' Muhammad bin Ishaq said that,(Isri) means, "The responsibility
of My covenant that you took,'' meaning, the ratified pledge that you gave
Me.(They said: "We agree.'' He said: "Then bear witness; and I am
with you among the witnesses.'' then whoever turns away after this,'') from
fulfilling this pledge and covenant, (they are the rebellious.) `Ali bin Abi
Talib and his cousin `Abdullah bin `Abbas said, "Allah never sent a
Prophet but after taking his pledge that if Muhammad were sent in his lifetime,
he would believe in and support him.'' Allah commanded each Prophet to take a
pledge from his nation that if Muhammad were sent in their time, they would
believe in and support him. Tawus, Al-Hasan Al-Basri and Qatadah said,
"Allah took the pledge from the Prophets that they would believe in each
other'', and this statement does not contradict what `Ali and Ibn `Abbas
stated.
Therefore, Muhammad is the Final Prophet until the Day of
Resurrection. He is the greatest Imam, who if he existed in any time period,
deserves to be obeyed, rather than all other Prophets. This is why Muhammad led
the Prophets in prayer during the night of Isra' when they gathered in Bayt
Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). He is the intercessor on the Day of Gathering, when the
Lord comes to judge between His servants. This is Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud (the
praised station) ﴿refer to 17:79﴾ that only Muhammad deserves, a
responsibility which the mighty Prophets and Messengers will decline to assume.
However, Muhammad will carry the task of intercession, may Allah's peace and
blessings be on him.
39:30.
Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die. 31. Then,
on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord.
Tafsir
Ibn ‘Abbas -(Lo! thou) O Muhammad (wilt die, and lo! They) i.e. the
disbelievers of Mecca (will die;
3:101
And how would you deny faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah
and among you lives the Prophet".
Tafsir Ibn
Abbas-How can you disbelieve (this is an interrogative of amazement and rebuke)
while you have God's verses recited to you, and His Messenger is in your midst?
Whoever holds fast to, clings to, God, he is guided to a straight path.
*Note:Here
direct question is being asked to disbelievers, and Quran is in present
tense. The verse does’nt mean Prophet is amidst us,Quran is in present tense.
A
Hadith
Volume 2, Book 23, Number 428: Narrated 'Uqba bin 'Amir:
One day the Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayers of the martyrs of
Uhud and then went up the pulpit and said, "I will pave the way for you as
your predecessor and will be a witness on you. By Allah! I see my Fount
(Kauthar) just now and I have been given the keys of all the treasures of
the earth (or the keys of the earth) By Allah! I am not afraid that you
will worship others along with Allah after my death, but I am afraid that you
will fight with one another for the worldly things

will be witness that “they were his companions”

Details of Commencing Prayer Dawud ::
Book 3 : Hadith 1042 Narrated Aws ibn Aws:
The Prophet
(peace_be_upon_him) said: Among the most excellent of your days is Friday; on
it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the last trumpet will be blown, and
on it the shout will be made, so invoke more blessings on me that day, for your
blessings will be submitted to me. The people asked: Apostle of Allah, how
can it be that our blessings will be submitted to you while your body is
decayed? He replied: Allah, the Exalted, has prohibited the earth from
consuming the bodies of Prophets.
*Note:On Friday blessing will be
submitted to Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam is itself a proof
that he is not omnipresent, blessing will be submitted to him.
The Companions and the
Taabi`een knew that this salaam was better and more virtuous then the salaam
said to him (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) at his grave to which he replied
because the salaam said upon greeting is shared by the Muslims as occurs in the
hadeeth, "there is not a person who passes by the grave of someone who he
knew while alive except that Allaah returns his soul to him so that he may
reply to the salaam."
A similar hadeeth is reported by al-Bayhaqee in 'ash-Shu`ab', ibn Abee ad-Dunya in 'al-Quboor', as-Saaboonee in 'al-Mi`atayn', ibn Abdul Barr in 'al-Istidhkaar' and 'at-Tamheed' and was declared saheeh by Abdul Haqq as mentioned by as-Suyutee in 'Sharh as-Sudoor' [pg. 84]. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that ibn Abdul Barr declared it saheeh in 'ar-Ruh' [pg. 8]
24:61. There is no restriction
on the blind, nor any restriction on the lame, nor any restriction on the sick,
nor on yourselves, if you eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers,
or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of
your sisters, or the houses of your father's brothers, or the houses of your
father's sisters, or the houses of your mother's brothers, or the houses of
your mother's sisters, or (from that) whereof you hold keys, or (from the
house) of a friend. No sin on you whether you eat together or apart. But when
you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allâh (i.e. say:
<> Úáíßă As-Salâmu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus
Allâh makes clear the Ayât (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs,
etc.) to you that you may understand.
Amr
ibn Dinar al-Athram (d. 126) the explanation of the verse [when you enter
houses salute one another] (24:61): “If there is no-one in the house then say: ‘as-salâmu
‘alâ al-Nabiyyi wa rahmatullâhi wa barakâtuh.’”
Hajjaj
narrated to me from Ibn Jurayj: I said to ‘Ata’: “What if there is no-one in
the house?” He said: “Give salâm! Say, al-salâmu ‘alâ al-Nabiyyi wa
rahmatullâhi wa barakâtuh, al-salâmu ‘alaynâ wa ‘alâ ‘ibâdillah al-sâlihîn,
al-salâmu ‘alâ ahli al-bayti wa rahmatullâh.” I said: “This statement you just
said about my entering the house in which there is no-one, from whom did you
receive it?” He replied: “I heard it without receiving it from anyone in
particular.”
Al-Tabari,
Tafsir (18:173 #19894).
*Note:The
reason to send salutation on Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alahi wa sallam is
because sending salutation on him is commanded in Quran, and when entering homes
Muslims are supposed to send salutation, since there is no one in the
house, sending peace on Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alahi wa sallam is always
valid because it reaches himwhereas sending peace on some alive person who is
not present, such salutation does not reaches that particular person.
3:96. Verily, the first House
(of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of
blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamîn (the mankind and jinns).
Hazrat
Ali Hameed Saaidi (radi Allahu anhu) has reported that the Messenger of Allah
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "If any of you enters the Mosque,
send Salaams to me, followed by this Du'a: 'O Allah! Open your Door of Blessing
for me'". (Abu Dawud, Ibne Majah, Baihaqi)
*Note:Just
like when entering a house Muslims are supposed to send salaam and if no one is
there then send salaam on Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam, the same
way Mosques are also houses of worship,so send salaam while entering the
mosque.Anyway, its always beneficial to send Salaam on Prophet Muhammad salla
lahu alaihi wa sallam.
Imam
Malik said in the Muwatta’: “It has reached me [i.e. from the Prophet,
sall-Allahu `alayhi wa sallam, with an authentic chain as is well-known
concerning Malik’s balâghât] that the souls [of the dead] are free to come and
go as they please.” Further readings about this can be found in Sayyid Muhammad
‘Alawi al-Maliki’s Manhaj al-Salaf,[22] Kitab al-Ruh by Ibn al-Qayyim, or
al-Tadhkira by al-Qurtubi.

come as go to return salutation, they are pleased to reply to the salaam.

has been narrated on the authority of Masruq Who said: We asked 'Abdullah about
the Qur'anic verse:" Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as
dead. Nay, they are alive, finding their sustenance in the presence of their
Lord.." (iii. 169). He said: We asked the meaning of the verse (from the
Holy Prophet) who said: The souls, of the martyrs live in the bodies of green
birds who have their nests in chandeliers hung from the throne of the Almighty.
They eat the fruits of Paradise from wherever they like and then nestle in
these chandeliers. Once their Lord cast a glance at them and said: Do ye want
anything? They said: What more shall we desire? We eat the fruit of Paradise
from wherever we like. Their Lord asked them the same question thrice. When
they saw that they will continue to be asked and not left (without answering
the question). they said: O Lord, we wish that Thou mayest return our souls to
our bodies so that we may be slain in Thy way once again. When He (Allah) saw
that they had no need, they were left (to their joy in heaven).
The Prophet,

Narrated
from Ibn Mas‘ud by al-Bazzar in his Musnad (1:397) with a sound chain as stated
by al-Suyuti in Manahil al-Safa (p. 31 #8) and al-Khasa’is al-Kubra (2:281),
al-Haythami (9:24 #91), and al-‘Iraqi in Tarh al-Tathrib (3:297) Shaykh ‘Abd
Allah al-Talidi said in his Tahdhib al-Khasa’is al-Kubra (p. 458-459 #694) that
this chain is sound according to Sahih Muslim’s criterion
*Note:A
point to note here is”your actions will be exhibited to me”,with this
its clear that he is not omnipresent ,had he been omnipresent why would actions have to be exhibited to
him,he can very well see ,but this is not the case,so its clear he is not
omnipresent.Another point to note is, already many ahadith have been presented
above that he is not aware of what is happening with individual muslims,it may
be possible that he might be informed about collective action of muslims ,like
…..in goodness(a)Muslims are going for Jihad,(b)Muslims are doing good deeds
etc and bad deeds like (a)Muslims have abandoned Jihad (b)Muslims have become
materialistic etc….. above all ..Allah knows best.
Model
Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)
Dawud :: Book 40 : Hadith 4735 Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib:
We
went out with the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) accompanying the bier of
a man of the Ansar. When we reached his grave, it was not yet dug. So the
Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) sat down and we also sat down around him
as if birds were over our heads. He had in his hand a stick with which he was
scratching the ground.
He
then raised his head and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment in
the grave. He said it twice or thrice.
The
version of Jabir adds here: He hears the beat of their sandals when they go
back, and at that moment he is asked: O so and so! Who is your Lord, what is
your religion, and who is your Prophet?
Hannad's
version says: Two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is
your Lord?
He
will reply: My Lord is Allah. They will ask him: What is your religion? He will
reply: My religion is Islam. They will ask him: What is your opinion about the
man who was sent on a mission among you? He will reply: He is the Apostle of
Allah (peace_be_upon_him). They will ask: Who made you aware of this? He will
reply: I read Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true; which is
verified by Allah's words: "Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered
it true, which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah establishes those who
believe with the word that stands firm in this world and the next."
The
agreed version reads: Then a crier will call from Heaven: My servant has spoken
the truth, so spread a bed for him from Paradise, clothe him from Paradise, and
open a door for him into Paradise. So some of its air and perfume will come to
him, and a space will be made for him as far as the eye can see.
He
also mentioned the death of the infidel, saying: His spirit will be restored to
his body, two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your
Lord?
He
will reply: Alas, alas! I do not know. They will ask him: What is your
religion? He will reply: Alas, alas! I do not know. They will ask: Who was
the man who was sent on a mission among you? He will reply: Alas, alas! I
do not know. Then a crier will call from Heaven: He has lied, so spread a bed
for him from Hell, clothe him from Hell, and open for him a door into Hell.
Then some of its heat and pestilential wind will come to him, and his grave
will be compressed, so that his ribs will be crushed together.
Jabir's
version adds: One who is blind and dumb will then be placed in charge of him,
having a sledge-hammer such that if a mountain were struck with it, it would
become dust. He will give him a blow with it which will be heard by everything
between the east and the west except by men and jinn, and he will become dust.
Then his spirit will be restored to him.
*Note:The
Question asked by Angels is “Who was the man who was sent on a mission among
you?”.They mentioned the term “mission”,Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa
sallam was’nt present there,Angels were enquiring about Prophet Muhammad salla
lahu alaihi wa sallam’ status by giving information that he was sent on a
mission.
Volume
2, Book 23, Number 456 (Sahih Bukhari)
Narrated
Anas bin Malik:Allah's Apostle said, "When (Allah's) slave is put in his
grave and his companions return and he even hears their footsteps, two angels
come to him and make him sit and ask, 'What did you use to say about this man (i.e.
Muhammad)?' The faithful Believer will say, 'I testify that he is Allah's slave
and His Apostle.' Then they will say to him, 'Look at your place in the Hell
Fire; Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.' So he will see
both his places." (Qatada said, "We were informed that his grave
would be made spacious." Then Qatada went back to the narration of Anas
who said;) Whereas a hypocrite or a non-believer will be asked, "What did
you use to say about this man." He will reply, "I do not know; but I
used to say what the people used to say." So they will say to him,
"Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the
Quran)." Then he will be hit with iron hammers once, that he will send
such a cry as everything near to him will hear, except Jinns and human beings.
(See Hadith No. 422).
*Note:The
Angels Question: 'What did you use to say about this man (i.e. Muhammad)?” Who
was sent on a mission among you.
Prophet’s
Are Alive In Their Graves
13:28.
Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism), and whose
hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allâh, Verily, in the remembrance of
Allâh do hearts find rest.
Prophets
Are Alive An Their Graves & Earth Does’nt Consume Their Bodies.
Prayer
(Kitab Al-Salat): Details of Commencing Prayer
Dawud :: Book 3 : Hadith 1042 Narrated Aws ibn Aws:
The
Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Among the most excellent of your days is
Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the last trumpet will be
blown, and on it the shout will be made, so invoke more blessings on me that
day, for your blessings will be submitted to me. The people asked: Apostle of
Allah, how can it be that our blessings will be submitted to you while your
body is decayed? He replied: Allah, the Exalted, has prohibited the earth from
consuming the bodies of Prophets.
Anas ibn Malik (Allah be pleased with
him) narrates:
"On the night of Isra, the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give
him peace) passed by the grave of Sayyiduna Musa (Allah bless him), and found
him praying in his grave" (Recorded by Imam Muslim in his Sahih, and
others).
The
Prophets are alive in their graves performing Salat" (Recorded by
al-Bayhaqi in his 'Hayat al-Anbiya' and Abu Ya'la in his Musnad).
The above Hadith has been authenticated by many Hadith scholars, such as: Ibn
Hajar, al-Haythami, Ali al-Qari, al-Munawi, al-Shawkani and others.
Aws
ibn Aws narrates the Messenger of Allah as saying:
"Send salutations in abundance on me on Friday, as your sending
salutations are presented to me. The Companions inquired: "How is it
possible that you receive our salutations when your body will have been
decayed? The Messenger of Allah said: "Verily Allah has made forbidden on
the earth that it eats the body of the Prophets" (Recorded by Abu Dawud,
Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Darami and others).
Anas
ibn Malik narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him
peace) said:
"The Prophets are not kept in their graves for more then forty nights, but
they remain worshiping Allah until the trumpet will be blown" (Sunan
al-Bayhaqi).
Imam,
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani states:
"Death will never come to the Blessed Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him
& give him peace) in his grave, but he will remain alive, due to the fact
that the Prophets remain alive in their graves" (Fath al-Bari, 17/22).
Imam al-Subki states:"It is from our beliefs that the Prophets are alive
in their graves". (Tabqat al-Shafi'iyya al-Kubra, 6/266).
Hanafi jurist, Ibn Abidin "The
Prophets are alive in their graves, as proven from the Hadith" (Rasa'il of
Ibn Abidin, 2/203).
"The Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) is alive in his grave, as
has been established in the Hadith "The Prophets are alive in their
graves". (See: Nayl al-Awtar, 5/101).
Also, one of the major incidents that prove this, is the incident of Me'raj
(Ascension of the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) to the heavens),
where he met and conversed with many Prophets. He also led them in
prayer in Masjid al-Aqsa.
:
"As Salaatu Was Salaamu Alaika Ya Rasoolullah" (Peace and Blessings
upon you, O Messenger of Allah), or to recite "As Alukash Shafaa'atu Ya
Rasoolullah" (I seek from you Shafaa'at 'Intercession', O Messenger of
Allah) is totally permissible.
*Note:Attahiyat
... As-salamu alayka ayyuha'nnabiyyu these are the words of worship ,and words
of worship do not change, just like in Quran "Allah command Rasool Allah to
fight,to go and teach etc after his death he does not goes and fight yet the
same words of Quran are repeated in prayer.
because even after prophet’s death, words of worship do not change.Like for example he was commanded to marry Zainab, after marriage also he used to read the verse of "the command to marry her"thus words of worship do not change
Hazrat
Jabir bin Abdullah (radi Allahu anhu) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu
alaihi wasallam) said: "The entire earth has been made a Mosque for
me". (Bukhari Shareef)
*Note:It
means Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam muslims can pray anywhere on
earth.
Seeing
Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam In Dream
Interpretation
of Dreams Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume
87 :: Hadith 116 Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit:
The Prophet
said, "The (good) dreams of a faithful believer is a part of the forty-six
parts of prophetism:'
The
Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has stated, "Whosoever sees me
in his dream then he will soon see me while awake." (Bukhari Shareef; Abu
Dawood)
*Note:seeing
Prophet Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam in accordance with the information
given in Quran and hadith is a true dream.
The
Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "I have been sent
towards all the creation of Almighty Allah." (Sahih Muslim Shareef;
Mishkaat Shareef) *Note:The validity of Quran and Hadith is till Qiyamah.
Allah
Ta'ala sent all the Prophets to our Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) on
the Mi'raj night. He became the Imaam, and they performed two rak'ahs of
Salaah. It is thus seen that all the Prophets (alaihimus salaam) made Haaziri
(were present) in Musjid al-Aqsa to perform Salaah with our Noble Prophet
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) being the Imaam.
*Note:All
the Prophets Prayed ,it was a special event,Allah subhanawatala called Prophet
Muhammad salla lahu alaihi wa sallam on heaven, the Porphet Muhammad salla lahu
alaihi wa sallam again met many Prophets there as well who prayed here as
well.It was an event of its own kind.
The
Book Pertaining to the Excellent Qualities of the Holy Prophet (may Peace be
upon them) and His Companions (Kitab Al-Fada'il)
Muslim
:: Book 30 : Hadith 5858 Anas b. malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) as saying: I came. And in the narration transmitted on the authority
of Haddib (the words are): I happened to pass by Moses on the occasion of the
Night journey near the red mound (and found him) saying his prayer in his
grave.
*Note:Prayer
is remembrance of Allah subhanawatala, and in remembrance of Allah subhanawatala
is immense pleasure.Allah subhanawatala blessed Musa alai salaam with his
remembrance in his grave.
