I developed this webpage to collect and share information about Phenomenology and Transpersonal Psychology. These two areas of psychology and philosophy do not seem to be considered "mainstream" in Australia, so I have needed to look to Europe and the United States for information about these areas. Since I know very few people who are interested in these areas, I hope to use the internet to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and also the discussion of these areas of interest.
I regret not having the opportunity to study Phenomenology and Transpersonal psychology in my undergraduate training as a psychologist. While I had the opportunity to study Phenomenology at a post graduate level, I discovered Transpersonal psychology after completing my Master's degree. I was astounded that Transpersonal psychology had not been mentioned in seven years of full-time study at two different universities, as I trained to be a psychologist. I create this webpage with the hope of informing others of the existence of these methodologies, and also providing the opportunity for some dialogue about the work that others are doing in these areas.
