What made me so impressive was the summer exchange programme I joined in summer 1996 - Beijing For someone like me who never step out from home, I am so surprised that people can be so friendly and each other can really take care of each other no matter what the nationality is. We spent a month in Renmin Daxue (Huajiao buxi xueshao) learning Putonghua/Mandarin... The most wonderful feeling was to live with my colleagues and 2 Master Degree students --- Xu & Gao. Everyday we finished classes, we could not wait to go out and breath the free air outside......our travel schedule was so tight and we just can ask why the sky got dark so early always without notify us ??? Until now - 2003 I still miss our pure friendship and 'The feeling of Beijing' which happened there ! I heard from them sometimes, yea...... not often but sometimes. Friends... the older it grows, the stronger it is ??? |
