* Aren't there enough shows with "X saves Y and, as a result, Y becomes X's slave whether X wants Y to or not" stories?
* However, this is probably the first time it didn't end with "X comes up with the idea 'if I set it up so Y thinks Y saves my life, then we can call it even'"
* If there is a second season episodes with Miss Slovak, why wasn't it shown before the episode where Miss Slovak leaves the teaching profession? (The only thing I can think of: there's a Columbus reference and this episode was first shown on the Columbus Day holiday in 1997)
* The boy on the bus Sid tells to move is Burt, Connie's boyfriend from "6th Grade Girls"

* Arnold and Gerald's lockers don't have padlocks, like most of the others do
* Arnold has trouble saying "hookey"; the second time he says it, it comes out "hokey"
* When Arnold calls the school, he says "This is Arnold's Grandpa", as if there's only one Arnold in the school and Principal Wartz knows who he's talking about (however, in "Fighting Families", Stinky says that there is only one Arnold in the entire school)
* Why is an amusement park open on a school day, anyway? (Well, the amusement park near where I live opens on weekdays in early June, before most (but not all) schools start summer vacation)
* The clock in the police station looks like it says it's after 5:00, but school is in session
* If I was Principal Wartz, and I heard a couple of students planning on playing hookey, I might consider having a "surprise carnival day" as well (after making sure the kids in question weren't there)...
