Big Gino | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

After Sid works off a debt with loan shark Big Gino, the two become friends, but when Arnold thinks Sid has changed for the worse, Sid has to choose between the two Written by Joseph Purdy Storyboard Direction by Tim Parsons Animation Direction by Christine Kolosov Storyboard Artist: Carson Kugler Cast: Arnold - Spencer Klein Sid - Sam Gifaldi Big Gino - Cameron Van Hoy Gino's assistants - Kyle Gibson Third grader - Josh Evans Uncredited: kid being thrown into dumpster * For whatever reason, Nickelodeon stopped airing this episode for a long time; in fact, in March, 2005, the nick.com schedule had it scheduled, but switched it to an episode of Avatar: the Last Airbender at the last moment, pretty much unannounced (in fact, the commercial that aired right before that episode began mentioned that Avatar would be on that Friday). Since Nicktoons has aired the episode since then, it's not a case of "there's something in the episode that Nickelodeon won't show". * In one scene, Sid is driving Big Gino's motorcycle - isn't a nine-year-old about seven years too young to be doing that? * The door to Sid's house has "COGIT ERGO SUM" above it - presumably, the "O" fell off from the first word, since "Cogito, Ergo Sum" is Latin for "I Think, Therefore I Am" * A possible answer to the question "Is Sid's hair full or stringy": it can be both - when he combs his hair in the bathroom, it switches from one to the other * The "horse's head" bit comes from the novel (and movie) The Godfather |

Jamie O In Love | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
When Gerald's normally mean-acting older brother Jamie O falls in love, he starts acting nice to everybody, but when Gerald discovers the girl is just using Jamie O, he has to decide if riding the gravy train is worth it
Story by Danica Ivancevic, Steve Viksten, and Michelle Lamoreaux Written by Michelle Lamoreaux Storyboard Direction by Mike Svayko Animation Direction by Christine Kolosov Storyboard Artist: Jay Lender Cast: Arnold - Spencer Klein Gerald - Jamil W. Smith Jamie O - Phil LaMarr Charice - Candi Milo Patrice (Charice's friend) - Anndi McAfee * Note that there's no period after the O in Jamie O's name * Somebody tell Gerald that he does have a "normal" older brother; the kind he wants probably does come from "The Z-Files" * Jamie O's car has a front license plate "KILLER" but a rear plate "KILLR" * Arnold says "maybe (Jamie O) made the wrestling team or something" - but in "Gerald Moves Out", Jamie O is already on the wrestling team; besides, if he wasn't on the team, how did he get a letterman jacket? * Gerald said that one of the things Jamie O did was to put Gerald's hand in warm water; supposedly, that causes some people to wet themselves * Somebody Call The Animators: in the cafe, after Charice speaks, when Gerald says "Aloha, Gladiators on Ice", there are three places where Gerald's mouth disappears! (This isn't limited to Nickelodeon; there's an episode of The Simpsons where Maggie's entire head disappears) |
