* Apparently, this episode was originally titled "Operation Lila-less", and that's not the only thing it has in common with "Operation Ruthless"; besides the obvious Cheese Festival connection, both involve bumper cars and Helga saying "say goodnight" (to Phoebe in the first one, and to Lila here), the climactic incident takes place at the Tunnel of Love, and Helga ends up as the last person at the Festival when the lights go out
* Lila must have been to carnivals before, if she knows that "big rides" make her sick, so it's a little surprising she didn't know what bumper cars were
* The "Built-To-Hurl" had two speeds: "slow and easy" and "fast and furious"
* Gerald And Phoebe Alert: they're walking together, eating what I assume is the cheese equivalent of ice cream, as Arnold and Lila are going into the Tunnel of Love
* Wait a minute...if Lila was pretty much entirely underwater in a "standing" position when Arnold rescued her, how come suddenly the water only reached her knees?
* One of the booth operators looks like Caesar (the ride operator), but with hair and a beard

* I know the phone number was "1-800-I-M-HUGE", which is only 10 digits, but that's so close to 1-800-I-AM-HUGE that I'm surprised they used it and I can't believe I just said "only 10 digits", but then again I live in one of those areas where you have to dial 11 digits even in your own area code
* In the comic book store where Arnold is, there's a "Sherm" comic (presumably named after regular storyboard director/artist Sherm Cohen), and two comics whose covers look like CatDog when put next to each other
