SEWAGE DISPOSAL STATION #3
Sewage disposal station #3: this disposal station is situated in Aatchi Abadi near boundary wall of University area.
The trunk sewer AA/ joins to this disposal station. The hydraulic calculations for the trunk sewer AA/ are carried out in the table. The sewage flow from Katchi Abadi also fell at this disposal station which is shown in the fig.5.3

Wet well and pump at disposal station #3:
This wet well contains the discharge of sewer AA which is 3328 m3/day (0.0385 m3/s)
The discharge from Katchi Abadi is 1941.71 m3/d (0.0225 m3/s), so total discharge is 0.061 m3/s the design capacity is wet well is given by the following formula:
V =Tmin * Q/4
Tmin = 10 min
So design capacity of wet well =10*60*0.061 =9.15 m3
Existing capacity of wet well =24.48 m3s
Comments:
The capacity of wet well is all-right even it is too much as head is concerned.
