Me w/ Canon 10D at Grand Canyon on Dec. 28, 2004
I was born in Tokyo, Japan and raised there. I have been photographing since I was a teenager. From the very beginning the sights of the every day lives were subjects for my camera. My subjects were like my friends, places, and something like that. Although I didn't have a good camera at that time, I just loved shooting anything that attracted to me. In addition, I'm more facinated to capture the moment or reaction of people in daily lives.

Photography has always been a part of my life. I studied photography as an Art in
Santa Monica College. And then, I studied photography as photojournalism major at California State University, Northridge. I had learned a lot about photography there in a journalistic way. I've done several documentary projects like "Animal Shelter," "Aftermath of the Wildfire in Southern California," "Deaf Life" and "Meals for the Homeless."  I've also done news and sports photos for student newspaper, "Daily Sundial" at Cal State Northridge during spring semester 2004. I graduated in this June. I did an intern from July 2004 to December 2004 as the photographer at the Weekly LALALA in Torrance, California.
