There was the Festival of Books @ UCLA on April 24, 2004. I heard that there were many writers of books coming @ UCLA to promote their own books. Then, I heard that some famous people including Jay Lano and Julie Andrews would be there for their upcoming books. Jay Lano is one of the famous Talk Show host in the U.S.A. Julie Andrews! Don't need to explain about her, I think.
She's the big musical star in the world as seen on "The Sound of Music" "Mary Poopins" and "The Princess Diary." I couldn't meet them to get autographs in person but I could take photos and listen to their stories while they were on stage to talk about their books. Lucky me!!! Yay!!! Jay Lano who is so fanny guy. I didn't know he loves kids so much. He brought many kids on stage to communicate. What a nice man!!! Julie Andrews, what a beautiful lady!!! When she came on the stage, I was like watching musical show in front of me. She was such a big star!!! She talked about her lastest kids' book called "Dumpy to the Rescue!" and her latest films "Shrek 2" and "Princess Diary 2." Everybody loves her. She told the people that she sings just a little bit on the Princess Diary 2." So check it out!!! You must see this film!!! |
