When you have a premature baby, you may find yourself wondering, "Will she ever be healthy? Will he ever look like a 'normal' child?" It is so hard to imagine that these tiny, fragile babies will ever grow when faced with the long haul of the NICU. We have put together this Then and Now section of Pause for Thoughts so that parents of premature babies can see that these tiny warriors do, in fact, grow up! There are pictures ranging from 23 weeks to 33 weeks. There is a picture of each child in the NICU, and one later on in life.
