We debut some new songs at this one: Jumbalia, Two of a Kind, and a new song tentatively titled Tyler's Stupid. We were supposed to play another new one, Billy and What's his name, at this show but two of the guys in the band backed out (i won't say who), and tony was left alone with what he thought would be a funny joke. 10/9/99-Half Fare @ Indiefest, starting @ 1:00 P.M. Half Fare played the Rave, a club in Milwaukee, at an event called Indiefest. It was on a Saturday starting at 1:00 P.M. Half Fare played at 1:00 P.M. Tickets were ten dollars ( $10 ). Check back for flyers.Since they were the first band playing, there weren't as many people there. It ended up being less than a hundred people including the other bands that were watching us. Despite are early start, and short set, we got numerous positive comments from other bands, friends, and fans. The band played a total of eight (8) songs which were in the following order:

1. Rationalize

2.Same Old Story

3.Give

4.as is

5.Running Away

6. Trouty

7. Nation's army

8.Don't Blink

The band was tight and fast, leaving practically no space in between songs. They were also very sexy.

10/8/99- Free show- @ House party Half Fare warmed up for the show at the Rave with a small party at our close friend John's house. The band played two sets, with the second having an audience of a whopping twenty (20) people! If you were there, which most likely you weren't, you would have seen the spectacular lighting effects that made the band seem even more sexy than ussual, if possible.

Here is how we got screwed out of the last two:

1. Amanda Ross was illiterate and frogot to read that there are no amplification systems allowed in public parks, even if you are renting them.

2. Another local band set up a block party that fell through at the last minute. It ended up being a 30-minute set in the lead-singer's basement. The audience consisted of Jake's girl friend, her two friends, the other band, a little kid, two of our friends, and one of thier boyfriends. All of them, however, were there to see HALF FARE.

EMAIL if you want Half Fare to play at a club/party/garage(carhole)/dumpster you know of.
