2001 AGM News - Votes passed at AGM to meet twice monthly rather than once a month. Meetings are now on the first and third Tuesday.

Contestant Runner Up - Bob Warner (President) achieved 2nd place in local speech competition.

Fired Up And Online - This website came online on the 24th of December 2001.

Huddersfield Venue - On 19th March will be hold our first meeting in Huddersfield. This will be at the Voluntary Action Kirklees offices, 15 Lord Street.

(We hope to hold one meeting a month in these premises.)

Radio Promotion - As part of our publicity campaign to promote the club and its new venue, some members will be taking part in local radio broadcasts in Huddersfield

Trophy Winner - For the second year in succession, the club has received the National Award Trophy for the largest number of new members in one year.

2002 AGM News - On the 4th of June we held the clubs annual general meeting. We will look forward to another year with President Bob Warner, being supported once again by Andrew Smythe. Our new Education director will be John Podger. He has a vast amount of experience speaking and training in the Australian club - ROSTRUM.
