Ah A-Pix, a studio that appears to be in it's own little competition with Full Moon Studios in an attempt to produce as many cheap, direct-to-video disappointments as possible! Full Moon may have a few years up on them, but A-Pix seems to be "able" to put out the worse products, so they may be catching up soon! Anyway, "Bleeders" is the story of what happens when European royalty decides to do nothing but inbreed for 3 centuries. The result? They move to America and become hideous mutants. Now that we've discovered how the origin of the stereotypical American redneck, lets talk about John Van Damme (NOT the muscles from Brussels!) and his wife Kathy. The two come to a small island in search of John's ancestors, who turn out to be the aforementioned inbred mutants. After making friends with the locals, learning of John's "heritage", eating a formaldehyde soaked fetus, and battling the mutants, John decides to go "back to his roots". Yes, John gave up his VERY attractive wife so he could live underground with mutants and fuck his hermaphroditic, fat-ass, twin sister! What a friggin' twit! Mortals! I'll never understand them! Oh yeah, Kathy's pregnant with John's child! Can you mutter "Bleeders 2"?
