During some summer hijinks, a group of preppy dorks royally piss-off some carnies and stumble upon a deserted (yeah right) island in the wake of their "daring" escape. It seems that on New Years Eve 1959, a secret government plane crashed on the island. The plane's cargo? Why, some sort of time/reality altering device, of course! Now, the entire island is "doing the time warp" and the souls of the dead party go-ers are trapped there. But, on the positive side, none of the bologna on the island will get spoiled! However, as you can imagine, trapped souls get cranky and take it out on any suckers that pass-bye. So, these preppy dorks obviously run into trouble (thank Osiris). Not really that bad, this seems to be a British mix of "Poltergeist", "Evil Dead", and "House". Oh, and besides the evil house and it's tenants, those carnies follow the dorks to the island too, so that means more victims! The end of this movie also reminds us that, though love can be used for good, it (along with an outboard motor) can also be used for evil! So, forget love, it's to much of a hassle! Go the way of the Romans, and just have three-day orgies instead! XXX-celsior!
