Sadly, when a movie as terrible as THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT is made into a pop icon, many equally horrid parodies are bound to follow. Some fallen stars try to use it as a means to garner a new spike in their career (like Linda Blair and Paulie Shore), while others decide it'd be a funny concept for some Cinemax-grade porn. Still others, well, they're just lookin' to make a buck off someone else's dumb luck. Not to mention all the TV parody skits, I'm just gonna cover the movies. Here's the list I managed to uncover:

-the only BLAIR WITCH parody I've seen to date, this was a sad attempt by EXORCIST star Linda Blair to cash in on the coincidence between her last name and the blockbuster pop flick. I saw it with my girlfriend Krissy at the 2000 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in New York City. It had it's moments, but we both learned that Linda Blair is a total gold digging bitch. We saw it for free though, which was $10 less than we had to dish out for that Blait Bitch's autograph on a cheap plastic flashlight...

the Blair Princess Project
-something about Jewish bitches trapped in LA.

the Bogus Witch Project
-Paulie Shore... as if I didn't hate the original movie enough, Paulie Shore has to stick his gangly face into a parody about it. Whay haven't I killed him yet? Better call my pal Ted...

Da Hip Hop Witch
-Urban parody of the original, featuring appearances by a whole bunch of rappers that I don't know or care two funny shaped turds about.

the Erotic Witch Project
-Another softcore parody. Atleast these people give us something to look at... and spank to.

Scary Movie
-Technically not a BLAIR WITCH parody, though it does have one scene that mocks several notable parts of PROJECT.
