This movie is a good example of the fact that big budgets do not a great movie make. Sure, the gore in this film is excellent, and if you put it in slow-mo during the log entry you'll get a nice taste of what I incur when I get bored. But, the movie seemed to lack something storywise. If you haven't already heard of the story, here goes. A group of galactic repo-men (and women) are sent into space to recover the long missing Event Horizon ship. Heading the crew is none other than Cowboy Curtis himself, Lawrence Fishburn. Soon the crew begins dropping like my robe at a kegger! It seems the ship has the ability to travel into Hell, where it's crew are tortured by their own personal demons and everyone goes mad! But, as I said, there's just something missing. It may be holes in the story, some overacting, or the fact that it just seems to drag on for eternity! Oh well, the blood and gore were still impressive, as were the actual death scenes. Kudos on that.
