This is possibly the 6th or 7th Halloween movie, I'm not sure. It is one of the better, however , so keeping with my new centuries old tradition, I shall begin with the last movie of the series and work my way down. Why? If I didn't, your mortal realm would be destroyed and I'd be out of a job. This time around, it is revealed that, like Jason Vorhees, Mikey is a vessel for pure evil. He must find a baby that was stolen from his cult by a deserter who, unfortunately, managed to hide the youngin' from Mike before her demise. There's, of course, plenty of nice killing using some nice FX and inventive slaughter. In the end, Mikey is pumped full of glowing green drugs and has his skull bashed in by a pipe. Oh yeah, this movie finally kills off the ever "dynamic" Donald Pleasance, who passed on in real life during the filming of this, his final flick. The hero of this movie is some wacky teenager who follows Mike's exploits, like some follow a certain other serial killer (take your pick). All in all, a fairly good movie, but it's been (over)done.
