Woooooooo! Portrait! Sounds classy! This here be a cult classic, critically acclaimed movie about a serial killer named Henry. Or did you pick up on that already? Well, Henry is a bug exterminator (symbolism here?) who has apparently been busy, which would explain the 6 corpi all over the opening scene. Henry lives with Ottis and Vicki, an incestin brother/sister couple. Henry's childhood resembles that od Danny Ray Hawkins from CONFESSIONS OF A SERIAL KILLER. In fact, there's ALOT of similarities between these 2 flicks... Oh well, I'm SURE it's purely coincidental. Henry drags Ottis into his Serial Killer hobby, and they steal a TV and video camera from some fat guy after tearin him a new asshole. So now, when they take out their frustrations on hookers and good Samaritans, they can do it on video! One night Ottis, drunk as a skunk (whatever that means) tries raping Vicki, so Henry beats his ass and Vick stabs him in the eye with a hair pick! After dismembering Ottis, they drop the parts off a bridge, they fall in love and go off to live happily ever after on a horse ranch owned by Henry's sister... or they would have, had Henry not mangled her and stuffed her parts in a suitcase he leaves on the side of the highway! I don't know why this is hailed as such a great movie. It may have been sick and twisted to the city slickers in the 70's, but to me, I'm subjected to this crap everyday, so I'm not impressed. I think the preview for DEATH SPA before the movie impressed me more... oh well, at least this kind of movie can impress those damn critics who people listen to, unlike myself... I'M THE GOD OF DEATH AND EMBALMING FOR NEFFERTITI'S SAKE! Doesn't what I say mean anything to you people? Well, maybe now that "Siskel and Ebert" has been cut in half, maybe people will finally start listening to MY opinions... heh heh.
