Ever wonder what kind of horrors a scarecrow possessed by a dead warlock can inflict? I know I have! After some smart-ass hick-boy and his friend piss on the local scarecrow and break it's stone base with a tractor, a warlock's evil soul is released and he possesses the previously lifeless straw man's body. He goes on a rampage to find his missing spell book, and kills numerous rednecks in the process. And boy does he have fun doing so! He stitches a priest's lips together, plants his daughter in the ground like a seed, and turns someone into a straw man from the inside (trust me, it's better than it sounds)! I tip my talons to the writers of this movie! Even I have a hard time taking life in such creative ways! Bastards better not try stealin' my job! But, amazing killing aside, this movie still lacked the panache of other horror films. Sorry guys, you just missed the train into the upper aunchelont of the H.O.P.E.L.E.S.S. archives. Maybe next time. Boy, I hope there is a next time!
