Yes kids, Troma's first notable success takes shape here! Said shape? Well, it looks kinda like an ear of corn with a fake nose and a tailgate! Seriously (yeah right!) folks, this movie ushered in the Troma legacy! Here is where the toxic waste fueled graphic sex, violence, twisted humor, bad acting, heavy drug abuse, and blind woman assaulting all spawned from! Anyway, about the movie... The place: NYC (more specifically, Tromaville), the dork: Melvin (whom the Spanish call "el Dorko Ultimo"), the villain: all who would stand in the way of justice (the assholes and coke heads of Tromaville), the solution: dump said dork into a vat of chemical waste (burning off flesh and making him into a large, freakish hero who pisses acid!). Yep, that's basically the way it goes! Some dork of a sanitation engineer gets hassled by a couple of doped up jocks, and plunges head long into a barrel of toxic waste, becoming the urinating hero Toxie! Cleaning up the streets of Tromaville by gougin' eyes, beatin' balls, crushin' skulls, dry cleaning, car jacking, and dis-ARM-ing the local bad guys! And, after a small misunderstanding with the local authorities, Toxie disembowels the fat corrupt mayor and he and his blind girlfriend live happily ever after! By the way, I AM DR. MILTON SNOTBURGER!
