Jeese Custer: A.K.A. the Preacher

Jesse Custer was an ordinary Texas preacher, until one day the Genesis force, the super freaky power child spawn of a horny angel and demon, escaped it's imprisonment from a prison in Heaven and escaped to Earth. The creature then planted itself in the body of Mr. Custer, giving him the power to make people do anything he tells them to, which leads to rather interesting situations, like when he tells a cop to "go fuck youself"... remember that lawyer scene in WISHMASTER 2? Well, this is worse. Anyway, this was a comicbook series from DC/Vertigo that lasted some 5 or 6 years before the story was wrapped up and finished. It was one of the most twisted and fucked up pieces of literature in history, and I highly suggest you pick up some of the trade-paperbacks like I did. Hey, God of Death or not, I still can't afford to pick up the originals...
