Agincourt | |||||||||||||||||
The Battle of Agincourt, one of many of the Hundred Year's War, is the centerpiece of Henry V. October 25, 1415, the British forces won, despite being sick, tired, and out-numbered. Henry broke the code of chivalry by ordering all of the French prisoners killed. The French had also broken the rules by killing the boys behind the British lines. This victory paved the way to Paris. In 1416, he was visited by Sigismund, the Holy Roman Emporer. This alliance helped end the Babylonian Captivity. |
