2 minute game w/ 12 second intervals
I have searched the Internet and the ECO chess opening database and cannot find this defense.
Black's opening confused the heck out of me. Initially I thought this opponent was a crappy player. I mean, who the heck opens with a5?! Then I suddenly realized that he was pretty good. Either due to confusion, time trouble, plain stupidity, or a combination of the three, I made several questionable moves throughout the game.
One major mistake I made was 18.Nh5?. Instead, I should have played 18.Nf5! and I would win the exchange (Knight for Rook). Additionally, I now have his Knight pinned on f6 so he cannot play 18...Nd5?? to threaten my Queen; if he moves his Knight, I mate him with 19.Qxh8#!
I also realized afterwards that I could have checkmated in a better and quicker method. 69.Ra3+ Kb6 70.Ra6+ Kb7 71.Qc6+ Kb8 72.Ra8#.
