Contented. I while away the hours like the sun, Contented, happy, shining bright. Purring like a cat at night, Glowing like the moon. Sparkling like a rainbow, In the sparkling rain. I wish to be a star at night, to glow forever in my light.

Fly I can fly through my thoughts, In my dreams, And on hopes. Like a flower in spring, Or a leave on the autumn breeze, A fairy on the wind. Like a drop of rain from a winters cry, Or a ray of warming sunshine and summers smile. Dew drops on the glistening grass, The red night skys of sunset, Or the dawning of a new bright day. Images to fit all moods. But most of all i like the sun. The sunshine makes me happy, The sunshine makes me smile. I remember all my hope and dreams, As the sun does shine on me.

Wishes. Wishes that fly up so high, Amongst the sailing birds. The wishes that, on every breath, float upon the passing breeze. The wishes that do lay to rest upon a dewdropped ground. The wishes that, unlike the sun, do never ever set. A wish that will, without a doubt, always come very true.

Sense the feelings. I heard the first bird sing at dawn, I saw the first lights kiss. I heard the trickle of a stream, In view of all the stars. I saw the sparkle of the moon, A twinkle in a eye. I saw the glinting of the stars, As night draws far away.

Memories can never fade. A creak on the floorboards, As dust flies, Soon to settle, Treading this untrodden path, Left isolated, for so many years, Archaic, a time gone by, A place from long ago. Creeping, Trying not to disturb, What has lain forgotten, So long. The creek portraying age, A long time has past, A time close to forgotten. But I remember. The laughs, The tears, The easy, the hard, The good, the bad, The memories that are contained, Within these old boards, Memories that will never leave me, Not even in a forgotten eternity. Memories are all I hold, And all I have to hold to, To remember, To love. A treasure cavern of memories to keep.

Nanny and Granpa Inglis. The love that time could never fade, A wish that has come true. The warmth that caring love can bring, The flying birds that all will sing. The kindness that is shared, How much we all have cared. The cheer that warms so many hearts, The smiles that every kindness starts. The love that steers the way, The happiness that comes with each new day. There’s so much love that does unite us, The love will never die. The happiness that puts us all at ease, The laughter that floats across a breeze. We will be together forever and never apart, Hand in hand as we wander across the sand. In our eternal love.
