Long before the Borg, The Cybermen were the scurge of the galaxy. To increase the numbers of their race they convert / alter humanoids into Cybermen. The Cybermen originated on the Planet Mondas, Earth's twin planet. Mondas was made to travel through the universe by a space drive, a product of cyber-technology. Mondas was destroyed in 1986 wilst it was attacking Earth. The Cybermen Desperate to increase their numbers are on the lookout for any sutible race to convert into emotionless Cybermen. "You will be like us."
