Hi, I'm Linila High Elf Enchantress from Felwithe.  I'm not of pure High Elf blood.  My mother was a High Elf Cleric and my father was a Human Paladin named Yitzhak (My mother never spoke of a last name). My parents didn't live together as my father lived in Freeport and my mother and I lived here in Felwithe.  So how did I end up being trained by the Enchanters Guild in Felwithe you ask.  All I can say is it was a happy accident.  From the time I can remember I have always been interested in reading, and have a very good memory.  These can be good, but can also get you introuble.  When I was very young, only about 20 years old I was playing in a library and came across a book that looked pretty interesting, so like all good High Elves I accidently knocked it into my back pack without my knowledge and went home, boy was I suprised when I found it.  After getting through a good portion of the book, I realized I had a Enchanters spell book in my hands.  Now I had read other books from different Guilds that happened to fall into my backpack, it's amazing how that keeps happening. Originally I had wanted to be a Cleric like my mother or a Paladin like my father, but after reading other books I soon came to realize that they were not for me.  Like all young people I wanted to be able to do something I could enjoy, and I'm not much into going and attacking things and sweating so a Paladin was out.  And to be honest the Clerics Guild was a bit too strict for my tastes.  So that left me with a few choices.  All I have to say is I found a spell called Minor Illusion, and to a young kid like I was then, it was the coolest thing.  However I managed to get caught by the Enchanter Guild Leader, oops.  After the lecture I got from him, and then the one from my parents I learned my lesson of checking my book bag before I leave libraries.  The Enchanter Guild Leader was however nice enough to let me keep the book, as long as I agreed to show up every day for training and assist in the upkeep of the Guild Hall.
That was truly my happiest day, though it was short lived.  My father had come to vist during one of his patrols of Faydwer.  I was so happy to see him, and when I told him I was training at the Enchanters Guild he was so proud of me (he didn't want me being a Paladin either).  My mother like other Clerics had decided to join my father and the other Paladins on their Patrol of Greater Faydark and near by Crushbone the home of the Orcs.  That day happened to be the same day the Orcs had decided to sack Kelethin and Felwithe.  I don't know what exactally happened to either of my parents, but I received word a few days later from the Hall of Truth that my father and mother had been killed in the battle with the Orcs.  From that day on, I dedicated myself to my training so that I could one day be the Elf my parents wanted me to be.
