Fairs and Shows

There are many fairs to participate in during the summer and fall season.  Our club competes here in Maple Ridge, the Chilliwack Fair and the Agassiz Fair.  The fairs are the highlight of the 4H year for most members.

Public speaking Events

All 4H members must participate in a public speaking competition.  Members can do a speech, or partner with another member to do a demonstration on how to make something, or they can do a speak and show.

Judging rally

The judging rally is also mandatory for all members. It happens in May and many 4H clubs particpate.  It involves judging many animals other than their own project; horses, goats, rabbits, hay, produce, etc....

Fundraising Events

Fundraising is extremely important to our club since it is the only means of funding we have.   Flea Markets, participating in donut sales and having car washes are just some of the activites we do.
