 Welcome to our virtual Recruiting Office. Here you will find out anything you would like to know about the Sea Cadets and, if you cannot find an answer to your question, feel free to e-mail the webmaster. He can answer any questions you could possibly have that isn't covered in these pages. If after reading about our program, you would like to join just click the "Join" button to your left or the link at the bottom of each page. We are a youth program for young Americans, male and female, ages 11 through 17, whose objectives are to develop an interest and skill in basic seamanship and seagoing skills and to teach them patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtures. We are financially supported by the Detroit Women's Council of the U.S. Navy League and recieve training from the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps. We are based at Redford Presbyterian Church in Detroit, Michigan. |
