December is a month of setting up a Christmas tree, decorating, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
We traveled near Atlanta where we visited the "Lake Lanier Magical Night of Lights." It's a six mile drive through millions of decorated lights. It was beautiful! Some of the pictures below capture the beauty:
And, toward the end of the drive, we braved the cold night air, and rode a few carnival rides:
And I snapped this picture from atop the ferris wheel:
But the real reason for Christmas is our celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and on December 25th we watched in joy as John and Rebekah (and Gabby) opened presents:
