I'm amazed at the amount of hits I'v been getting considering the state of disrepair
the site has fallen into since my move to Linux. Good emulators are scarce and NES
programming tools are non-existant.
Anyway I'm back in the fold with an announcement
The eReader code has been cracked. Here's the Link
20/3/04
Won't be working on anything for at least 1 week
Windows deleted everything I'v been working on :( So now I'm installing Linux
I'v been building a EPROM programmer that requires windows to run so I'll
have to setup a 2n'd computer just for it LOL.
I'll post a link to the EPROM site when I'v got everything sorted.
Want to program any 27C series EPROM but your just too damn cheap to buy
a comercialy produced programmer, well so am I.. AndrewM's EPROM
programmer.is a great alternative for those of us who can handle a soldering
iorn. The best place for parts would be JayCar with the damage bill coming
in at AU$47 to $77 and of course you might have a lot of the parts lying
around your workshop anyway

Michael Martin's Retrocoding
Page
I don't know how I missed it for so long considering I found it in
an old thread at AtariAge
in which I also posted. Anyway his tutorial answers a lot of questions
newbies like myself have and is full of neat little coding tricks like
pointing IRQ to NMI's RTI to save a byte.
Didn't catch that last bit ? Then go read the tutorial, it explains
everything.
This should be the final design ..... for now. Best veiwed with
Netscape 7.
Between bouts of coding I'm working in the Sorting room getting
ready for another NESdev archive release.
Added TheMail room section. This section will hopefully
contain most messages posted to the NESdev mailing list. Thanks to Yahoo
groups advertising this will be very tediouse work and may not
be compleated for a very long time. I do have the first 100 posts up
now and will be adding more in increments of 100 until such time as
I succum to RSI. Also added some more technical docs and links. Oh yeah,
new Site design too. Enjoy.

I have some content up. Not much really but it's
a hobby page and it will grow over time. I decided I miight as well use
my space here to help the NES homebrew scene as much as I
can. I'm not a web designer so if anyone wants to help out with
design or hosting contact me at happy_dude [at] Bocnet.com.au with
Nintendo in the subject line so I can filter it easier.
