Jacky
On the one
year anniversary of Jacky's passing, I have finally decided to do something
that I have been meaning to do for a year - create a simple web page dedicated
to her.
Perhaps the green writing is a little hard to read on this background, but green
was Jacky's favourite colour and to me, the angel in the background looks just
like her...resting peacefully.
So much can be said about Jacky...she was(and still is - somewhere) the most bright
and beautiful soul, always animated and with a story to tell. She never saw the
bad in anybody and brought a smile to everyone she met. The way she used to end
her sentences with "man" and say that everything that Jason and I did was so
"cute." When I told her we got engaged she said "Aw! How cute!" In that voice.
That voice that I can never describe. Some memories have faded over the twelve
months but others, such as her stories about "picking up" at the movies and the
time at work that we pretended that we were Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio
from Titanic, are still with me. Everyone however, has their own unique
memories of her that have become only more special since her passing.
