JEAN CLAUDE - MAN OR GOD?
Things which MUST be in a Jean Claude Van Damme film:

1. There must always be a good and bad version of Jean Claude (both played by himself)
2. He must end the film doing some type of spinny kick on the main bad guy, preferably causing the bad guy to fall into a open furnace/electrical monitors/the floor outside a fighting ring.
3.Good Jean Claude always gets the girl.
4.If he is in a film but only as a bad guy his scene time will equal no more then 5 minutes, but every scene he is in he will STEAL.
5.If he is in a prison film he will always become brooding and self reflecting.
6.His worst films will always be the most high profile (E.G: Timecop, Streetfighter)
LEGEND OR GOD?
It has long been debated by the great minds of the world if Jean Claude is the greatest actor and martial artist of all time, or merely brilliant, this page takes a look into his greatness...
Things You May Not Know About Van Damme:
1. Before he trained as a martial artist he was a dancer, this explains his cat like grace.
2.He refuses to do any fighting in America for fear of 'legal action'. Yes he is that dangerous.
3. He does all his own stunts (probably), yes that includes the flash kick he performs on the dead Addams family bloke at the end of Streetfighter.  Apparantly the Streetfighter 2 character 'Guile' was actually modelled on Jean Claude and Capcom took a lot of Guiles back story from the exploits of the then teenage Damme's adventures in the local Brussels Streetfighting Bouts.
4. Though he seems to play identical twins in a lot of his films, he actually has a real life identical twin called Cean Jlaude Van Damme who unknowingly plays the parts of the evil twin in all the films.  Much like Solid Snake and Liquid Snake they were created.
5. Jean Claude has often been mocked for being 'rubbish' but his true fans know his films have lots of depth to them

A SMALL SELECTION OF JEAN CLAUDES AMAZING FILMS:

1. Kickboxer (After the cruel crippling of Jean Claudes Kickboxing brother by 'Tong Po' in a kickboxing fight Jean Claude learns the art in order to have some cool training montages, wrap his hands in glass and do a spinny kick on Tong Po)
2.No Retreat, No Surrender (Jean Claude is the bad guy in this film appearing in only a few scenes. At the start in a scene lifted straight from 'shenmue' Jean beats up this kids master, and then the kid in a fighting dojo.  The final fight features Jean vs the kid, and though Jean is defeated he isn't down.  He looks on at the kids celebrations visably pissed and certainly not properly defeated.
3.Death Warrent (A Jean Claude Prison Film, Jean pretends to be a prisoner but is found out and hunted by 'a hundred prisoners', ends with a boiler room fight in which Jean does a trademark kick on the bad guy into a open furnace, the bad guy jumps out the furnace for one last beating.  This idea was actually stolen by the makers of the x-box classic 'Dead To Rights'.
4.Replicant (A Jean Claude twin film in which Jean plays a serial killer and his retarded clone.  Bizarrly in a stupid plot flaw after blowing up Serial Killer Jean Retard Jean fakes his own death obviously forgetting he has a homing device implanted in him, doh!
5.A.W.O.L (Jean Claude is: Absent without leave, possibly as a street clown)
6.Universal Soldier (Jean is a Cyborg fighting Dolph, the Megadrive game has virtually no bearing on the film whatsoever)
7.Universal Soldier - The Return (Jean still as a Cyborg fights some Wrestling actor Cyborg)
8.Streetfighter (Jean hunts down the evil M.Bison and then flash kicks him into some monitors)
6.Legionnaire (Jean Claude joins the foregin legion!)
7.The Quest (Jean goes on a worldwide fighting tournamount to fight lots of people doing various martial art styles, features supporting role of Roger Moore who tries to steal a gold statue via hot air balloon)
8.Black Eagle (Jean as the bad guy only appears a few times, but has a fantastic cliff top fight with Kosugi, but then is killed via boat proppeler blade later on in the film by a freak accident)
9.Double Impact (A Jean Claude twin film in which him and his twin probably do lots of spinkicks in a attempt to avenge thier fathers death)
10.Nowhere To Run (Escaped convict Jean helps to protect a family from a evil land developer by possibly spin kicking bulldozers just like 'Streets of Rage 3')
11.Desert Heat (After being interrupted by a evil biker gang while trying to commit suicide Jean gets a new pyrpose in life- to spin kick the boss of the evil biker gang)

15.In Hell (A Jean Claude Prison film, Jean Claude in his most beautiful role is imprisoned after murdering his wifes killer and in between prison fights is visited by the computer generated butterfly reincarnation of his wife)
16.Knock Off (Jean avoids lots of green explosions and fights lots and lots of people in a Shenmue style battle through Hong Kong Dockhouses, one of his best!)
17.Sudden Death (The infamous film in which Jean shockingly beats to death a knife weilding pink rabbit in a Hockey teams locker room)
18.Timecop (Undoubtably the best time travelling film ever, but a sure sign that Guns and Damme dont mix too well)
19.Cyborg (Jeans post armageddon film in which he battles the bloke who played Goro in 'Mortol Kombat')
