What is a DJX
| What is a DJX and what does it do? It's a very
nice (in my humble opinion) DJ tool for most part. I don't use it as a
DJ tool though. To get full use of all 70 patterns (10 variations
each one), Space for 5 patterns (10 variations each) of your own, 203
instruments, and 23 drum kits in it you need to hook it up to midi.
It's quite a waste to buy one of these and not use midi. |

How do I use my DJX
|
How do I use a DJX. I see people all the time asking how in the world
do they setup their DJX, can they record from it, or can they record to
it. Can they add their own banks. Yes, Yes, and Yes. First
I'll say it is NOT a CD Player or Sampler which some people think from
looking at it. It's a midi enabled device which contains voices
and samples which can be triggered/controlled by just about any midi compatible device or
sequencer will. You hook the out of your keyboard into the computer and
the out from the computer into the DJX. You record the notes in
something like cakewalk and enjoy. If you need the particulars on
setting up your midi software click here. If you need an ins file
for your midi software click here. |
