As previously stated, this
webpage has been created and maintained by Constable Marc Trioreau of the Trinity
Conception District "B" Division of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Constable Trioreau is a native of Montreal, Quebec. He is fluent in both the English and French languages. Marc currently resides in Carbonear, Newfoundland with his wife and three children. In March 1990, Constable Trioreau completed his police training in Regina, Saskatchewan, with his first posting being in Port-Aux-Basques, Newfoundland. He was then transferred in July, 1994 to the Trinity Conception District, where he currently works. Through his dedication, commitment, and hard work, Constable Trioreau has been the recipient of numerous awards and has received many certificates of appreciation for his outstanding performance throughout the Trinity Conception District. Some of his achievements include: Commendation for Bravery, dedication to Scouts, recognition and support of The Children's Wish Foundation. He was an escort for the Miss Newfoundland and Labrador Beauty Pageant. He is a friend and guest speaker of several local schools. Marc was also nominated for Police Officer of the Year in 1996. He volunteers his time with organizations such as Crime Stoppers, Citizens on Patrol, Block Parent, the Hr. Grace and Area Citizen's Crime Prevention Committee and Youth Services Canada. Constable Trioreau takes great pride in his work and enjoys educating the public. He has been a spokesperson for subjects relating to Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Ice Safety, Halloween Safety, Telephone Scams, Tenant Safety, Shoplifting, Bicycle Safety and the list continues to grow. Because of Constable Trioreau's open-mindedness and compassion towards the concerns of the people in the Trinity Conception area, the thought of having a safer community seems a whole lot easier to achieve! |
