| The new Strokes single 'Last Nite' was released today in the UK. It is the third single from the album 'Is This It'. It has had alot of play on both TV and radio. It has two CD's including a new 'B' side track and a couple of live tracks. The single also comes with their first video which includes The Strokes on stage. Julian stumbles around knocking over guitarists and drinking a bottle of beer. The single is sure to be a huge success. |

| The Strokes new single 'Last Nite' as entered straight into the UK chart at number 14. The band will also being playing 'Last Nite' on Top Of The Pops. This is on BBC2 because of the 'Children In Need 2001, on BBC1. It is on at 7.30pm- 8.00pm on Friday 16th of November 2001. The program will be repeated on Sunday 18th 2001, on BBC1 at 1.55am. |

| Thursday 15th Nov 2001- |
| The Strokes were on MTV2 last night. They chose their favourate videos, Their choices included Radiohead, John Lennon, Bjork, Pearl Jam and the Cure. The show which lasted an hour also include live version of The Strokes playing 'Is This IT' and 'Hard to Explain'. |

| I have good news, the Strokes European tour dates will be announced at the end of this week, or at the very latest the beginning of next week. The dates will definetly include at least one scottish date. You will hear the latest on the tour dates right here. |
