Hello everyone! My name is Monica, and I'm gonna tell you a little bit about myself. I am 17 years old and I have been on WW since August 11th, 2002. I think my inspiration for joining WW was to be healthy, but the main factor has definitely been Britney Spears. A lot of people may not like her, but I think she kicks butt! I was always complaining on how I wanted to look like her, so I stopped complaining and joined WW. I am far from looking like her, but I know one day I will and that keeps me going.
What keeps me OP is that I have a lot of food choices. I wouldn't be able to stay OP if it weren't for Sugar Free Jello, Lite Whipped Cream, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches from Sonic, and chicken. Those things keep me sane while trying to do this "lifestyle" change. But just like there are OP foods, there are some foods that could keep me OFF program (But I don't let them!) These foods are chicken fried steak, ice cream, M&M's, and cheeseburgers. Everyone has their trigger foods though. My motto is you can have anything in moderation.
Exercise seemed like work until Richard came along. Richard Simmons that is. I have 4 of his tapes, and lemme tell ya- I LOVE SWEATIN' TO THE OLDIES. I dance, sing, and overall, get an awesome total body workout. You can find his tapes really cheap on eBay! I used to do WATP but they were too boring for me. (No offense to anyone who does them!) What else, hhhmm, I am going to stick through this journey no matter how long it may take. I am worth it right?!
