Chuck Wagner
Chuck Wagner has starred in such shows as Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll & Hyde and Into the Woods. Known for his massive presence and gorgeous baritone, he is a very popular member of the theatre community, currently starring in the touring production of Jekyll & Hyde, in the title role(s). After seeing Chuck perform as the Beast several years ago I finally got to meet him in October '99, after a performance of Jekyll & Hyde in Ottawa. He was so friendly and gracious, and spent a long time signing and posing for everyone who asked and chatting with his fans (and you've got to love a man who comes out to the lobby after a show, rather than us having to wander around in the rain and dark looking for the stage door!!!). He's also one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen, and as my friend Julia calls him, a true "manly man." And a sweetheart. Chuck's plans for the immediate future include the tour of J&H, and I'm not sure what he's up to after that. Hopefully we'll see him back on stage soon!!!
