SPLICES & CABLES
SPLICES
Splices are components that are placed on existing wires and more wires can be routed to these splices, splices are defined in the same way as the components are defined.
There are two types of splices used in diagram
BUTT SPLICE: this splice breaks the wire at the selected point and the other half of the wire is given a different name.
THROUGH SPLICE: This splice does not break the wire.

CABLE CREATION
Cable are defined by the same spools which are used to define the wires, but the spools have some new addition like
- The number of conductors used for the cable.
Once the spools are defined and the wires are specified, the system overwrites the wire spools information with cable spools information.
