My Favorite Movies
In no particular order, here are some of my favorite movies...
Gay & Lesbian

The Birdcage
- I have lost count how many times I have watched this. I'm up to over 300.

The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love - Cute story.

Bar Girls - The movie itself sucked horrendous piggywonks, but the Taxi hat girl kicked ass.

Boys on the Side - Break my heart, why don't you.

Broken Hearts Club - Cute gay male ensemble story.

Mulholland Drive - This may have to be taken off soon: I seem to increasingly hate this movie the more I watch it. But Naomi Watt's role is keeping it in here for the time being.

Victor, Victoria - I can, however, watch this movie again and again, back to back, without getting sick of it. I love this movie.

Desert Hearts - Damn fine movie. Helen Shaver is fantastic in this film.

Aimee & Jaguar - While Aimee is a bit... umm... loopy, Jaguar is hot stuff. Moving, funny, and dreadfully tragic Nazi Germany movie.

Tipping the Velvet - Bloody brilliant BBC mini-series. Rachael Stirling is wonderfully sexy in this.
Sci Fi

Star Trek films - Some of 'em, anyway.

X-Files: Fight the Future - Scully!

Tank Girl - I like Lori Petty, so sue me.

Contact - But I love Jodie.

Stargate - Somehow palatable Egyptian-themed story. (I won't watch the series.)

The Fifth Element - Oh, yeah. The blue lady. You know what I'm talking 'bout.

Evolution - Heh! I found this hilarious.
Drama

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - Without a doubt, in my top 3 films.

Man in the Moon - Really good story, really depressing story.

2 Days in the Valley - Black comedy that really hits its mark.

Awakenings - Robin Williams and Julie Kavner have some interesting chemistry in this film.

The American President - Mmmm... Annette Bening. When this came out on PPV, I must have watched it 50 times.
Adventure

The Goonies - Though my childhood was nothing like this movie, it is the first thing to come to mind when I think about it.

Indiana Jones Saga - Just good fun.

The Touch - Really cool effect near the end with fire. And Michelle Yeoh - what more needs be said?

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - While not a fan of the movie, per se, I enjoy Michelle Yeoh's performance in this immensely.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - Johnny Depp's performance. Should have gotten the Oscar.

Harry Potter film series - I don't read the books, but the films are great fun.
