Full Name: Andrew "Hustler" Fowler.

Age: Let's see.... born September 24, 1882.... that would make me 19, nearly 20. Yeah, yeah, I'm old. And yeah, I know Ver's born the day before me. But not by much, maybe six minutes.

Appearance: I suppose you know what Verity looks like. She's my twin so...just like her 'cept I'm not short like she is. I'm about, oh, 6'2" I'd guess. But other than that we look just alike. Same hazel eyes, brown hair.

Background: And I suppose if you know Ver, she's already told you about our family. I still say it was a brilliant idea to come here, even if she doesn't agree. Momma seems to be doing a lot better, according to Ver. She writes most of the letters home. When I was still in Harlem I wrote more letters, but I haven't lived there since around 1900. Right now I'm staying down near Park Row. I'm a cook at Mama Nuss's. Wonderful place.

Relationships: For the duration, I'm seeing the most wonderful girl in the world, an absolute angel, Sophie Townsend. She works at Mama Nuss's, too. (Don't listen to Verity when she talks about *ahem* certain other people I've seen.) And all the Harlem girls are like little sisters. Although I don't know if I need anymore. Ver's a handful to keep up with, no matter what she says. Yeah, I'm just teasing. She tends to keep up with me better than I keep up with her.

Other notes: I guess I really do have to explain the nickname, huh? Well, I spent a lot of time at The Corner Pocket, playing pool and stuff. And for some reason, various people thought I couldn't play pool. I play pool darn well. (So does Ver. It's the only thing I play that she'd let me teach her. Says it's 'cause you can't cheat as much at pool as at cards.) And so I was accused of "hustling" the tables. They can believe what they want to believe. Doesn't bother me any.
