London and Paris

Well, here's my page about my trip to London and Paris. It was with a group of about 40 students from Bluevale, and it was led by my history teacher, Mr. R....or as we called him on the trip...Benno. The trip was a lot of fun...aside from the fact that one person lost their ticket an the way to Paris, and one person lost their passport on the way back home. Our trip started on Saturday, March 13th at Pearson International Airport in Toronto where we flew to Frankfurt, Germany. From Frankfurt, we flew to Paris, France. We got to Paris on Sunday, March 14th and spent 4 wonderful days there. We saw lots of cool stuff while we were there. We checked out The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower...stuff like that....but best of all I got to go shopping in the largest department store...La Galleries Lafayette!!! On Thursday, March 18th, we took the EuroStar train under the English Channel to London! I just about cried when I got there. It has always been a dream of mine to go to London. I saw Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace....but best of all...ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS!!!!! It was smashing!!! The only song that was going through my head was "Millenium" by Robbie Williams. Unfortunately I had to leave London on March 21st....and that was heartbreaking. We got delayed at Gatwick Airport for 4 hours or so. then we flew to Philadelphia, where we had to stay overnight because we missed our connecting flight. Finally I got home on the 22nd. It was a wicked trip....and I hope to go back to London to go to University after I graduate.
