Music teacher, harmonica player and application MIDI user
Hélio Rocha, music teacher graduated by
Universidade de Brasília, teaches at Escola
de Música de Brasília since 1986, ministrating musical language,
musicalization, chromatic harmonica and music computer application.
Learned chromatic harmonica from Maurício
Einhorn at Rio de Janeiro and developed an instrumentalist work with Banda
Repórter Musical which last one - Trilhos Urbanos - is based on
Caetano Veloso themes, constant success whenever it is showed up. At the time
plays by himself, playing harmonica accompanied by a sequencer.
Along with Renato e Helena Vasconcellos
developed a keyboard course, using computer support for learning process. To
each purposed exercise has been done a piano/bass/drum sequence. Thus, since
first lesson the student learns accompanied by its own band. Developing its
rhythmic and harmonic perception, students enjoy the pleasure of play together
and create improvises. The course is structured on four levels Beginner I and
II, and Basic Harmony I and II.
